Hi to all. I love to spend time with my family, 3 girls, 2 boys, their spouses and my 10 grandchildren... but when I'm not with them I love sewing, throwing clay, working in the garden, quilting, swimming, the beach, golden retreivers and chocolate labs, wood working, playing volleyball,knitting, photography,and cooking. I love all things organic--organic shapes and materials. I LOVE color! Fall is my favorite time of year, next is Spring, then Winter, followed by Summer. I'm more of a magazine fan than a book fan. Give me a good quilt/knitting/craft magazine and I'm set. As mentioned above, I LOVE color...all colors, but I tend to lean toward the warmer tones most of the time, a good hot pink and orange mix will drive me crazy, as will blues and greens. They remind me of sunsets and the ocean. I don't watch a lot of movies but "chick flicks" are my favorites. As for music...country, celtic, soft rock. I play the piano, guitar, flute, and am learning the violin and viola. I use coffee and tea to "age" fabrics only. I love herbs and grow several (lavender, camomile, lemon verbina, etc). I use them in my crafts. I'm a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, arts and crafts design, cottage design, and prarie style design. I'm on my way to becoming more "green" every day.
