I'm a pierced, tattooed librarian interested in rural renaissance and leaving a smaller footprint. I love anything library related: postcards, bookmarks, stickers, old library cards, you name it!
I enjoy camping; baking; reading fiction, non-fiction and memoirs; natural soaps; being a Mac user; National Parks; avoiding housework; traveling; learning; Kliban's cats; Boynton's farm animals; visiting bookstores and coffee shops; kayaking; being in nature; being around animals; watching movies; listening to music; going to museums; friends; photography; collecting memories; and correspondence.
I adore autumn and have an addiction to paper.
For swap partners... PLEASE include your swap name and the name of the swap in your mailing!

NO to: cutesy or country themes, religious, baby or kid stuffs, fantasy/sci-fi, teacher stickers, pirates, skulls, bright colors, glittery things, anything "diva", coffee, or things that use a lot of artificial flavorings or scents. PLEASE, no Dollar Store junk.
VERY IMPORTANT -- Please, nothing from a smoking home.
At any given time I may listen to: Dean Martin, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Norah Jones, Jill Scott, Jack Johnson, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Johnny Cash, a movie soundtrack, The Beatles, kd lang, U2, Diana Krall, The Gotan Project, Devo, Dido, The Black-Eyed Peas, The B-52s, Beethoven, Beck, Frank Sinatra, Sarah McLachlan, anything from the 80s, The Dave Matthews Band, The Ditty Bops, Pink Martini, world music, well, you get the idea. Eclectic.
Amelie, Chicken Run, Benny & Joon, the FIRST Star Wars, Cinema Paradiso, Il Postino, Raising Arizona, The Secretary, Somewhere in Time, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Cool Hand Luke, To Kill a Mockingbird... I'm a movie junkie, really. I borrow from the library and am a Netflixer and love documentary, independent foreign film.
In general, papercrafting: mail art, collage, card making, mail art, and rubber stamping. I'm interested in art journaling, mixed media/freestyle arts, and embroidery. When the mood strikes, I attempt quilting.

Hi Juli, you back in Florida? Thinking of you!
Hello Juli! I THINK I just got a Christmas card from you, if you live in St. Augustine? It's adorable and want to leave proper feedback but am not sure what swap it's for??
xoxo Sarah
I thought I was the only one who collected heart shaped rocks from nature !!!!! :D
i started doing that when I was around 5 and I would gather them and give them to my mother :)
Hi Juli, Any chance of getting a listing of what's on the mix CDs you sent me a while back? They were the Christmas ones you did. Thanks, hope you're doing well and not too swamped these days, glad you're making time for postmuse's swap later this summer. BTW, I think I could fit all this and MORE on a postcard, but quicker to just send it to you here ^..^
Thank you for the mixed cd's in trade for the Putumayo Paris cd. I sent that in the mail earlier this week. My mom lives in Jacksonville and it normally takes only two days to get mail to her....
Wowee! Thanks so much for the mix CD! Love it, really needed some new tunes at the studio, too, so your timing was perfect. Hope your summer is going well!
Just wanted to make sure that I had included some you would like. :)
