I'm a graduate of an art school in Philadelphia with a degree in dance, but crafting is what keeps me sane. My parents live in NJ, minutes from the famous (infamous?) Jersey Shore, and it's a huge part if who I am culturally and has a special place in my heart, because I grew up at the beach. I'm a dancer, a theatre geek, a huge bookworm. I have a huge imagination and I adore anything that's totally unreal - fantasy novels, sci-fi TV shows, and crazy action movies. I'm never going to grow up and I know it and I'm glad for it!

So swappers get a good idea of me, here's many options:

Things I Like:

Disney! ∞ dancing, obviously. ∞ action movies :) ∞ miniature anything, anything handmade ∞ fantasy and science-fiction type... things. especially fairies. ∞ acoustic music ∞ baking and cooking ∞ chocolate! ∞ jewelry; dangly earrings (pierced, or little tiny studs too), rings, and necklaces, and silver (well, white gold, but I won't hold anyone to that!) ∞ citrusy colors (green, orange, and yellow) and jewel-tone colors (darker blues, purples, turquoise, deep reds, silver and gold) and polka dots

Craft Goodies I Love:

Things I Don't Like, Really, At All:

'kawaii' things, in overdoses, like bento boxes or too much anime ∆ things that have labels like "princess" or "brat" ∆ asparagus and spinach ∆ stupid humor-type movies ∆ vanilla-scented anything

anything and everything acoustic that I can get my hands on, Tony Lucca, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Damien Rice, Matt Nathanson, Ryan Adams, Gavin DeGraw, Dispatch, rock music, System of a Down, Linkin Park, Fort Minor, Rock Kills Kid, She Wants Revenge, 90s alternative rock, Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls, Barenaked Ladies, Third Eye Blind, Vertical Horizon, Oasis, incubus, matchbox twenty, The Killers, Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ben Folds, the Decemberists, Me'shell NedgeOcello, Rosie Thomas, Missy Higgins, ballads and all things lyrical, and anything I can dance to, so that's everything. Phew.

Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Italian Job, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Donnie Darko, Ever After, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Pirates of the Carribean, The Boondock Saints, A Little Princess, and any James Bond movie. I love gratuitous explosions.

LOST-obsessed.... Law and Order (any type), CSI (any type), NCIS, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, House, Good Eats, and pretty much any other crime drama or food show. I grew up on Star Trek and Babylon 5, but everything is a rerun or totally not on now. And Firefly is over. So I switched to crime on TV instead.

Scrapbooking takes the cake. Painting, photo-manipulation (that's more computery than crafty), hand-sewing, fabric crafts, tye-dye, jewelry making (mostly earrings), beading, "kid's crafts" like embroidery thread knotted bracelets, clothespin dolls, worry dolls, god's eyes, and puff paint. I used to really be into rubber stamping but I just haven't in a while, though I think my next project will be to pick up some embossing powder and a couple stamps.

And the smaller, the better. I like little crafts and detail-work, for some reason.
