About Me

I'm an introverted, very quiet person. Indoorsy, catlover, couch potato. I love whatever I consider beautiful, and I like to be surronded by pretty things.

I like to write letters about books, everyday life, cultural differences and local traditions, my dolls, anything I'm interested in.

I am obsessed with cats, dolls, whatever series I'm watching at the moment, history of costume, and pretty much everything I've listed in hobbies and interests (read further)

SUPER VERY OH SO IMPORTANT

Please don't send me anything that doesn't fit in an envelope (this is great for those in a budget, like me). Argentina's mail system doesn't have a regard for gifts, so everything is treated as a purchase and lots of taxes are added, which I can't afford at the moment.

So, until things get better, thank you but no, thank you.

If we're partners for a profile related swap, please choose things that can be fitted in an envelope. Otherwise, I won't be able to receive it.

Thank you :)

Hobbies

dolls (as in: change their outfits, make new clothes for them and other people's dolls, taking pictures of them, spend hours in pinterest, instagram, facbook groups, and the internet in general watching dolly pictures and checking on news, attend to dolly meetings, fantasize with future dolls, etc)

reading

watching movies/series

befriending cats

crafting

going to museums

hanging out in second hand bookstores

taking care of my cactus

procastinating

Comment: I didn't meet my goal either. But you managed to cross some books of your list, which is great. What was your favorite book this year?
Response: My favorites this year were 지구에서 한아뿐, by Chung Serang [English title: Only Han-ah on Earth || Hana from Earth (I read it Spanish, though)], Stoner, by John Williams, The Ladies of Grace Adieu and other stories, by Susanna Clarke, and Before the Coffee Gets Cold, by Toshikazu Kawaguchi (off list) =)

Comment: Thanks for sharing your books. :) I listened to Good Omens with my family earlier this year and we all really loved it! Still haven't watched the show, though. Will have to fix that! Though, I have to say, in my mind Crowley is always Mark Sheppard - from the TV show Supernatural! Don't know if I'm ready for a different Crowley! haha!! But ... David Tennent . :) :) Happy reading!

ESG: Spread some Art! profile decoration

Hello, how are you? I have so many favorite art works from different periods and different artists. It's really hard for me to choose only one... One of my all time favorites is gorgeous and naughty painting by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. It's called The Swing. I actually ha an honor to see this work few times at Wallace Collection in London. For me it presents the true spirit of Rococo period.

:) enjoy!

(So...I couldn't get the original artwork I wanted to upload to work, so I'm going with Alex Grey's "kissing"...he's another psychedelic artist who I absolutely ADORE! But, you should also check out the art I originally wanted to share. She can be found on Instagram @smallmoon_ and is an amazing young artist whose trippy work gets me right in the feels.)
