My name is Emily and I'm a 26 year old lady living right outside of Cleveland, Ohio. I have a degree in education and I'm currently working as a teacher in a community center's after school program. Chances are, if you send me something really cool the kids I work with will see it too.

I'm a self proclaimed crazy cat lady who loves politics, coffee, traveling, eating, and fashion. I'm also in a feminist choir, so I love to sing.

I've been sending/receiving postcards on and off since I was in high school and have quite the collection.

There's a song in every genre that I can find and love, but my favorite artist are Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, Lana Del Ray, Kimbra, Best Coast, etc. I love old jazz, 50's, 60's, 70's, [especially the] 80's, 90's, R'n'B, hip hop, classic rap, classic rock, indie, electronic, industrial, etc, etc.

I really love Southern Literature and non-fiction works like true crime. I have to admit though that you're more likely to find me reading periodicals and editorials than you are a book.

As an aside, I really love adult coloring books!

An Education, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Goodfellas, Old Boy, Sweet Movie, Interview with a Vampire, Love Story, just to name a few are some of my favorites.

Once again, you're likely to find me watching a documentary or television show!

How I Met Your Mother, Dexter, Weeds, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Girls, The L Word, The Office (RIP), Call The Midwife, Game of Thrones, Queer as Folk, New Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Gigolos (such a guilty pleasure, really), and the list goes on and on and on really.

Since I've moved to Ohio, my crafting has been less and less and less, but I've been cross stitching a lot and making kitschy wreaths with yarn and felt flowers that are nice!
