I'm currently working full time and going to school part time, trying to make my life easier by saving money and bringing my lunch every day to work, and now also by bringing dinner to eat before class as well. I have two dogs (a Pekingese-Shih tzu and a Beagle/French bulldog) that I adore. AND I LOVE FOOD!!!
The Beatles are the all time greatest band ever. I also like classical music, anything with a good beat, pop music, and though I tend to avoid heavy metal/headbanging music and country, I've been known to get "a little country" every now and again or pop on some Metallica/Nirvana ;)
Currently, I read for enjoyment (aside from schoolbooks), so I prefer light and fluffy novels, like chick-lit and the like. I also like historical fiction, cookbooks, fantasy/sci-fi... anything that has a great plot. I'm open minded. Oh and I like comic books :)
Love comedies and chick-flicks for that escape from reality, but I also like horror/psychological thrillers and really, again, anything that has a good plot and can keep me interested.
HIMYM, Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, The Office, Kath & Kim, South Park
I don't drink coffee and while I LOVE a good cup of hot chocolate every now and again, I'm not a big chocolate (to eat) person. I like tea - but I have a ton of Earl Grey from well-meaning friends, but wouldn't mind other kinds to try new things. I'm caffeine-sensitive so if you can, please keep that in mind. If not, no big deal! Also, my current favorite style of tea is Japanese green tea (genmai or junmai or some alternative spelling of that), but I'm not a fan of fruit-flavored teas. Something about hot fruit doesn't appeal to me. (Besides hot apple pie with ice cream... hehe) My favorite color is pink - light, not hot - soft baby pink. I love learning new things, being exposed to new cultures and/or cuisines, and trying new things. I am effusively friendly and incredibly talkative... (see this profile?!) And here's the part that I feel like I'm asking for stuff, but oh well, I'd rather not deal with... yeah... So, I'm allergic to coconut and raspberries. I prefer savory items to sweets. I don't bake at all but love to cook. I have tons of body lotions and scented soaps and all of those bath items that girls love and give each other, so if at all possible, please don't send me any of those (I've been giving away all of mine). I adore pillar candles and pretty much any pretty scented candles (I like cherry blossom as a scent, to give you an idea of what I like, not so much on the heavy or musky scents). I'm a size medium... Um, I think that's it! Thanks for reading :)
PS And sorry because this is probably against the very nature of this site... but I am not crafty at all. AT. ALL. I don't have the patience to sit down and cut fiddly things and I don't have the artistic side to draw or anything, though I can write you a beautiful story if you like, I can't make anything :( Sorry...
PPS I appreciate everything and anything sent to me, even if it falls under the categories that I can't or won't be using/enjoying them! I generally pass along those things because I firmly believe that just because it isn't to my taste, doesn't mean someone else won't like it, so please don't be offended if you discover I've passed along one of your goodies to someone else in another swap! Spread the love!!!

HI there, great to see i am not the only one who could probably stitch her hand to her shoulder if she made a dotee! NO shame in not being crafty!
Hello from a fellow foodie! I have abook recomendation for you! If you haven't yet, you should read "Belle in the Big Apple" by Brooke Parkhurst. It seems like it would be your thing.
