I am a Texas transplant that now spends my days on our hobby farm and tending to the garden in Arkansas. The wee morning hours are my favorite times of the day. Coffee with the flock of chickens and turkey makes the day more manageable. I am an autumn girl who enjoys picnics, apple cider, and camp fires with the family. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and foxes and owls seem to find their way into my home during the fall months.
My husband and I have two grown children and one senior in high school. We are co-authoring a book and we work on the farm together. He has recently been diagnosed with an illness but by faith we believe God is in the process of a complete healing. It is the little things in life.
I am fond of my chickens and giant chinchilla rabbits. My style is vintage farmhouse and prairie. Mason jars, vintage linens, and Pyrex are my jam. I long to return to the simplicity of sitting down and writing letters to a new found friend. One of my favorite memories from school was getting assigned a pen friend from another region or country. I buy stamps on a regular basis but have not used them as of late. Ready to meet some awesome folks at the mailbox.
I prefer turquoise, yellow, and an array of cream shades for color. And I have too many coffee mugs-but tend to buy one each time I go to the city. I also have begun a collection of tea cups and tea related items.
Evening hours are spent outdoors and most days with a good book. Would love suggestions on books. I am very open-minded in my reading/genre selection. I am also the girl that spends money on buying my favorite magazines and tear out the pages for inspiration.
When life slows down my next adventure is glamping up a retro pull-behind. Another collection is camper related items and decor.
My likes include: rooster and farm related items, vintage pyrex, turquoise and yellow, mechanical pencils, and jelly belly goodies. I also like anything coconut and chocolate, snail mail, coffee mugs, teacups and any type of black tee or white tea with fruitful flavor. I am not a green tea drinker no matter what fruit trees is paired with. I prefer only Bentley tea bags, Stash, and Tazo tea. I also collect tea tins. (Trader Joe's tins are my latest acquisition)
My dislikes: Black, Gothic style, skeletons, skulls Halloween, and anything the smells like cigarettes. I also prefer not to receive Disney items, Kawaii items (unless in a swap), cartoon inspired items or superheros, cheap stickers/used stickers and plastic jewelry.
