About Me I am a busy mother to three beautiful children aged 9, 8 and 5. I am fortunate that I work doing something I love; I run a small Interior Decorating company which also keeps me busy. My husband of 10 years supports my endeavors and shares in my passion for living a full, creative and authentic life. I just started swapping, although I have swapped handmade cards with other crafty ladies for about 3 years now.

I have a very eclectic taste in music, but most often, the radio station in my car is tuned into Alternative music.

I love any classic mid 19th century novels. My favourite Authors are Charles Dickens, George Elliot, The Bronte Sisters, Oscar Wilde (and many more) My favourite novel (although not from that era) is To Kill a Mockingbird. Atticus Finch is one of the most inspiring characters of all time.

Although I don’t watch much television, I do love the following shows: Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead (it’s not as good as it was, now) Game of Thrones and Mad Men.

All time favorite craft is papercrafting in the form of scrapbooking, card making and ProjectLife. I just started an Art Journal, and a gratitude journal. I am learning to sew, and knit, and am enjoying these hobbies as well. I love seeing how different people make homemade cards, and have been inspired by many great artisans on You Tube. Oh, I have a slight addiction to watching papercrafters on You Tube. I have learned so much from them.

Likes: Handmade cards, Scrapbooking ephemera and embellishments. Right now, I am loving paperclips, journaling cards, labels, stamps, masks/stencils and a variety of mixed media tools and items. I love paper, especially scrapbook paper and Japanese paper.

Dislikes: insects (with the exception of ladybugs, butterflies and dragonflies) I only like spiders at Halloween ☺ ; reward or mini stickers; junky, cheap swaps; jewelry; burned CD's; perfume; scented lotions or candles.

Although I can be quite adventurous when it comes to trying new things, my family prefers simple comfort food, American or Italian type cooking. Because I am so busy, I would really like crock pot recipes and tried and true family friendly recipes that feature beef, chicken and fish. Would LOVE a good clam chowder soup recipe. I love to bake, so any good family favourite type baking recipes would also be appreciated. Most of all, I would love to accumulate some family heirloom recipes from people, so that I can make a recipe book for my family.

I need to give this some thought. I don’t really collect much of anything other than scrapbooking, cardmaking (papercrafting) type items.

Love receiving Home made cards. Christmas cards can be sent to me anytime of the year. I love them! Old English Literature type books (or even pages from those books)
