I am happily married and have been for almost 13 years. Our daughter is a freshman in college. We have a dog, Sherman, who is a mixed terrier mutt and definitely one of the family. He is spoiled, knows it and loves every minute of it. We also have 2 black cats who are identical twins and we cannot tell them apart anymore so they do not have individual names LOL! I am currently working on my teaching credential and master's degree in early education special ed. I teach special education preschool in the autistic classroom, I absolutely LOVE every minute of my job! We live in Southern California and I have been here my entire life and while I long to move somewhere else, I know this is where I will stay.

If you do not receive a swap from me, please contact me first before rating because I will be happy to resend or help to figure out where it has gone to. Sometimes the mail is pokey and other times things can get lost because the postal workers are only human. Sometimes in email swaps, the spam/junk folder holds on to them and if they are not checked it could result in a misunderstanding. Things happen but I do not know that a swap is missing unless I am notified. I will happily resend any swap. :0)

My favorite band of all time is the Voodoo Glow Skulls, from right here in my hometown of Riverside. I enjoy all kinds of music, the majority being ska, punk, reggae, metal, swing, and alternative. The other bands I have an affinity for are 30 Seconds to Mars, System of a Down/Serj Tankian, Mumford and Sons, Queen, Die Antwoord, The Doors, and Skindred.

I am obsessed with all True Crime novels. My favorite book is Helter Skelter. Recently, I have read and adored: Dexter (all four in the series) by Jeff Lindsay, the Shadow Children series by Margaret Haddix, and the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris. I enjoy Shakespeare and Poe as well, just started reading H.P. Lovecraft and am starting to devour his words as well!

Criminal Minds, El Ministerio del Tiempo, The Good Doctor, The Walking Dead, Dexter, OZ, The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency, CSI (the original, not any of the spinoffs), True Blood, Stranger Things, and The Big Bang Theory.

I love sewing, gluing things together, decoupaging, painting, stenciling, glass etching, melting and shrinking things, and learning new craft skills as I can! Am loving embroidery hoops as well. Dotee dolls and Teesha Moore patches are super fun to both make and receive.

Jeff Dunham is the funniest guy on this planet. I never thought I would have been head over heels for a comedian let alone a ventriloquist but he is superb. He gives his puppets amazing personalities and it is hard not to refer to them as real breathing people. He is a truly amazing artist!
