My name is Kirsten Bruinsma, I am 37 years old, happily married to Evert and mother of 2 wonderful children, Tim (5 yrs) and Vera-Jet (3 yrs). I live in a small village in the Netherlands on the countryside. I am a fulltime mom, but I have a webshop in embroidery and other stuff.

I love all kinds of music. I don't really have one favorite artist, but I do have favorite songs. It variates from the 60's until now. Music IS a big part of my life, there is always music playing and I LOVE singing in the car. ( Yes I am that kind of person who is entertaining to look at, at a traffic light, because I am always singing)

I love scrapbooking and photography, it is a big part of my life. I work with an embroidery machine where I try to make nice things. But scrapbooking is my favorite. It makes the world a happy place, feeding my creativity and my way of looking at things.

I don't like books at ALL, I have no idea why, but reading is just not my thing. Wish it was different, but unfortunately it isn't. I do read magazines sometimes, mostly true stories or science magazines. Give me a newspaper and I will read articles, but you will never find me in the sun with a nice book. What a lack in live, I know, but you are never to old to learn, so maybe there is hope for me.

ABSOLUTELY on number one,... my children. As a small child I already knew that I wanted to be a mummy and when this became true I knew that THAT was absolutely my thing! I was born to be a mother. Together with my husband, best friend and love of my life Evert I have a son and a daughter. They are the sweetest en most beautiful children in the world and everything else that a proud mother can say about her children. So my family makes my life worth while. I must not forget traveling around the world. A very expensive hobby that I try to do every year (mostly round europe) but If only,...... I would become rich, I would visite every country in the world! I also love driving my car!

I enjoy watching movies, a specialy in a cinema with my husband or with friends. I like almost everything, but surely no violent movies, thrillers or western.

When you see me drinking,... it is probably a nice hot cup of tea. Not strong, watery but flavoured tea. I don't drink coffee, so tea starts my day. I love chocolate and dinner meals. Unfortunately I am allergic to Peppers (red, orange, yellow and Green, in dutch they are called Paprika) It will kill me almost instantly. I like chicken and WOK meals. Eating will never be a hobby, but I do enjoy nice things.

-That I am allergic to Peppers (Paprika) -That my daughter cannot handle any animal fur. So swaps with hair contamination can influence her well beïng. -That the mail is approved for childrens eyes and that I might show the mail on my blog.

I LOVE scrapbooking, so sending me things that involves scrapping is always good! think of embellishments, clearstamps, ribbons, lace, cut outs, stamps etc etc etc.

I am into photography

my garden is flowery, so flowerseeds are welcome.

my kids love dinosaurs, prinsesses, stickers, drawing etc.
