So today was just an ordinary day…nothing special about it until I came home and saw an international little package waiting on the counter for me. Thank you so much for the sweet surprise! I haven't tried that brand of jelly babies but I am sure they will be delicious. I might not bother with dinner now!

I rock? Excuse me, but YOU ROCK! And the possibility of us both rocking? Well, I suppose I can live with that. What you said is pretty much how I feel whenever I discover something (well, anything) from you waiting in my inbox. Have a lovely weekend!
hey there sarah, i have you for a partner in a swap and was just reading your profile...what fun! I am a US Navy veteran and one of the most fun times while I was in was when we had some Royal Navy guys come down to Florida to my training center and we got to train with them. It was a blast to learn about their country and their love for the military service. One of them had his wife and children down there and they would invite me for dinner quite often. He road a harley davidson and would come on base to pick me up on the bike and we would ride back out to the beach where they were staying and they would cook dinner and we would eat and have a wonderful time. He had three adorable little boys ages 2-6 years old...they were a real hoot! Anyway, I wanted to thank you for your service to your country. Being a veteran myself I know first hand the value of a good soldier. I'm so very sorry you lost your husband so young. I know he must have been a very honorable soldier to have been awarded such a distinguished medal. I know you are very proud of him but would forgo all that just to have him with you instead. But sometimes things happen and I believe God needed him for a special purpose. I know you will always cherish your time together and have many many beautiful memories. I'm glad that you are finding someone special to spend life with again. Live each day with joy. Thanks for the things you do for the men and women in your military. I hope you'll enjoy the journal I get to send you soon. Hope you have a wonderful day. Shelley
