My name is Leanne and I am proudly a single mum of two; Mitch who is soon turning twenty and Jordyn, who has just turned sixteen. I was brought up in a small farming/ horse-racing community approx. 10km south of Dunedin, which sits on the southern coast of the South Island of New Zealand. I absolutely loved Wingatui, we had one small store that sold everything from petrol to lollies- ahhh, I remember aniseed balls, banana dots and blackballs- 4 for a cent (and I'm not that old). We had all the normal farm animals, as well as a massive pet rabbit called Charlie, who despite many attempts to house him, roamed freely throughout the house eating any cat food laid out, as well as his own. We also had a pair of beautiful white fantail pigeons that settled down to start a family in our lounge, on top of my Dads' antique sideboard and a guard goose called 'Goosey', very original... I now live closer to Dunedin, with my kids, (sometimes home, sometimes not). We have two young cats, called Black Jack and Missy- sometimes Hissy, others Prissy, but shes a female, and that's okay! Eh When I first joined SwapBot, we had two cats called Fudge and Bob. But they have both gone to wherever it is that our beloved pets go... both at the ripe old age of 16. I love the world of 'SwapBot'. Years ago I joined an Australian ATC swap group and was always surprised with the array of different cards that would arrive in the post, and all from the one swap directive. My dreams are simple, good health, fixing up my wee house, getting the flowers sorted out from the weeds in my garden and preparing my kids for the big wide world out there. I have had so much fun since joining SwapBot. I appreciate the talents of those who have hosted and created the swaps. Many thanks for your skills, patience and even perseverance giving us all guidelines and support to join and 'have a go'. I have been let down on several swaps but have also been 'blown away' on others.

Actually, it would probably be easier to say what I don't like, yellow really. And not a huge fan of green or gold, I'm a silver person... Love, Love, Love blues and purples, all shades, aqua, colours of the sea, black and white always look smart, and sepia tones.
