I am a North Carolina Public School Teacher and have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Middle Junior High School Education with a concentration in Language Arts and Social Studies. I am a middle school teacher.

I have one daughter, whom just graduated from Peace College in Raleigh, North Carolina. I love animals. Presently I have four cats, two of which belong to my daughter, but had to come home to stay with me.(But were originally born at my home). Smokey is the Mama cat. Smokey's first three kittens are adult cats and are one year old. They are known as Lexa Pro - Lexie for short, Chazzie Bear, and Precious. The youngest kitten that smokey has is six months old and is known as Kitty. She is my dog's pet!
The oldest dog turns a year old on November 29, 2008. He is an orange and blond Pomeranian with green eyes, brown nose,brown pads on the bottom of his feet. He is named Prince. He weighs 10-12 lbs. My new Pomeranian puppy was born on September 5, 2008. Her name is Duchess. She is jet black, with black eyes, a black nose, and has four white hairs on the bottom of each foot. She weighs about two pounds at the most. I have an extra cat that has shown up, but she is not a stranger. My neighbors died in a house fire during the summer, and I was only able to save their grandchildren. The cat, Pomeranian puppy (brother to Prince) and a beautiful black Lab perished in the fire. Their other cat was outside and disappeared until about three weeks ago. She has now takenup residency at my home.

I enjoy a variety of music. I love show stoppers, and Broadway. Rock and Rock is great, and classical music is fantastic! Easy Listening, and Jazz are favorite. Big Band is to die for and Swing.

I enjoy a variety of literature. Mysteries and unsolved history are some of my favorites. I enjoy research, including biblical history, science fiction, lost civilization, classical literature, short stories, novels and nonfiction reading material. I enjoy history and research materials on lost civilizations, cultures and people's lifestyles.

Movies and TV shows range from Eli Stone, Life on Mars, Boston Legal, all CSI shows, City Confidential, Unsolved Mysteries, Harry Potter, Science Fiction, the History Channel and anything intriguing. I love the Law and Order Series. I dislike horror. Cooking shows are wonderful!

I enjoy crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, cross-stitching, latch hook, sewing, crafts, decorating, and all holidays. Christmas and Halloween are my favorite times of the year for decorating.

I am a judge and director for pageants. I have been a past contestant, and pageant mom. I coach girls in pageant preparation.
