I am a college sophomore with a Jewelry/ Metals major and a Women's Studies minor.

I sell handcrafted and vintage items, and I guess I would say I'm sort of a jack of all trades when it comes to crafting. I mainly sell handcrafted jewelry, vintage, recycled items, and paper goods although I dabble in most everything....

Here are a few things I enjoy that might help you decide on what kind of swaps I would like to receive:

• feminism
• media studies

• Alphonse Mucha and art nouveau
• new music
• thrifting/flea markets/estates sales/goodwill
• tea (all kinds of flavors, especially fruity)
• handmade items
• vintage style
• eco-friendly items
• vegetarian/vegan recipes
• floral patterns
• ephemera of almost all kinds (although I particularly like fashion, nude/risque, floral, bird, pinup, and mushroom images)
• lace
• beads (especially faceted)
• quirky embroidery, embroidered trim
• most colors... especially dark jewel tones

I dislike:

• neon colors
• tacky firetruck red
• knit/crocheted cozies and scrubbies
• wool items (I'm allergic)
• yarn
• plastic beads
• pink (well, I don't quite hate pink, but I prefer other colors over it.)

Favorite styles: vintage, shabby chic, art noveau, whimsy, bohemian, steampunk (not goth,) provincial floral, Pennsylvania dutch floral, retro, lace and embroidery (perhaps those last too don't really count as styles...? Whoops...)

I LOVE handcrafted and vintage items.

When it comes to jewelry, I like everything from minimal to outrageous styles. I'm not huge on kitsch, but I love shabby chic/antique/vintage themed looks. I prefer brass and silver to gold. Mixed media jewelry is really fun, too (i.e. something with any combination of lace, chain, beads, etc.) Also, I do have pierced ears.

I like a lot of different types of music... mainly indie folk based bands like Iron and Wine, The Avett Brothers, Sufjan Stevens, Devendra Banhart, The Weepies, Alexi Murdoch, and the like. I also enjoy a slue of other styles such as rap, acoustic, DJ, pop, and more. I really only dislike hardcore and country.

When it comes to instrumental music I ADORE the violin and other strings instruments, as well as piano. I also really enjoy foreign music.

My favorite artists to listen to at the moment are The Avett Brothers, My Terrible Friend, RJD2, and Regina Spektor.

I'm mainly into books with feminist, societal, dystopian, or craft genres.

I've been on the lookout for good vegetarian and vegan recipes lately. I am lactose intolerant, so anything meat-less and light on dairy would be lovely.
