I am Italian and have lived in Germany and the UK so far...I just love travelling and getting to know new cultures and their way of living! I love housebunnies (I am owned by a REW, Hugo and Eve, a b/w Dutch), knitting, sewing, reading, listening to music/radio/audiobooks , dark chocolate, springtime and autumn, all things bunny! I am a member of Bookcrossing and Ravelry (YowlYY there too) both are lots of fun! I am vegetarian, unfortunately allergic to hazelnuts, and cannot stand the smell of smoke. Many types....early music (Tallis), punkrock (Face to Face, Summerset, Aina, Leatherface, to name just a few), renaissance (mostly the English and Italian dance music) and baroque (Purcell), as well as modern classical music i.e. Nyman, Glass...

I read. Lots. Tons. I enjoy reading mystery thrillers, because they're a gripping read. But I also read non fiction. See my profile on bookcrossing to see what books I've been through recently, and to see my wishlist.

Right now, my fav are V for Vendetta and Hellboy. I am a keen viewer of the BBC series "Waking The Dead", "Silent Witness" and "Spooks", just as the ITV series "Crime and Retribution" and "Wire in the Blood".

I am doing a lot of knitting right now, and am loving working with DK, sport and aran. I have used eyelash yarn, but not so keen on it. Recently I thought it would be fun to knit some lace, so I am keeping an eye at the weekly Sunday sales at Posh Yarn...so much yummy stuff there! I used to do a lot of sewing, and might get back to it as well, once I've set up a corner where I can leave the sewing machine ready to go. I love patchwork quilting, buttons, more buttons, trims and ribbons, and can always do with stitch markers..somehow you've never enough of them! One day, I am going to get hold of a pair of sock blockers, but I've only knitted 2 pairs so far...and a third is my weapon in Sock Wars III, currently knitting... I am going to try some felting (or fulling, as it is properly called) and once or twice a year I do some embroidery, not cross stitch but regular type, you know what I mean ;-)
