Middle aged, formerly fabulous Princess. Married 20 years. 19 yr old son lives two provinces away, 16 yr old daughter in grade 11.

Recently moved 15 hours away from home to a place of extreme weather conditions - ALL THE TIME!

I like horses.

Horse crazy since birth - currently own 5 riding horses (2 Morgans, 1 retired Standardbred, 1 grade Palomino, & 1 QH 2 yr old) + 3 race horses (Standardbred harness racing). Expecting 2 foals in May '09 (1 Morgan, 1 Standardbred).

I also like dogs. Geriatric Tori the cavalier lives in the house; technically she's my daughter's dog but Piglet goes off to college in a couple of years and the dog stays. (Incentive to come home once in a while.)

Minnow the 2 yr old german shepherd was supposed to be the farm dog, until it got to be -47 degrees celcius and I just couldn't stand to leave her outside. Turns out she has lovely manners so she's in the house as much as she likes now. She's technically my husband's dog, whatever. She knows who fills the bowls.

Hope to get a cat when my barn is finished (long story, care to know details, go read about it on my blog).

Crafty?

Not really so much anymore. I do some counted cross stitch but no big pieces anymore, just like bookmarks and such. I did a lot of crafts when the kids were small, now I prefer to get outside and train/ride my horses.

Love TV, love it too much. Crime shows (CSI, Law & Order, Cold Files) Most thing A&E. Love Survivor, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Tabatha's Salon Takeover. Hated/still hate Apprentice. Love TLC network.

Music - all of it. Classical at the bottom of the list. Prefer 60's 70's hippie music, rock n' roll, 80's hair bands (Rock on!) Country, old & new. Dance music. Recent favs: Nickleback, James Blunt

Who doesn't like chocolate? I prefer milk chocolate or white. Nuts & fruits are nice, not wild about cream centers, but toffee or caramel is yummy. That swiss chocolate is sure nice, as is Laura Secord, that sort of thing. It's fun to have shapes, like hedgehogs or boobs (saw that recently so it came to mind) or treats that are also pretty to look at. Sugar free chocolate is fine too, makes me feel like it's good for me....

Other interests:

-I like to cook. New recipes would be good to try, nothing with wierd ingredients, tried & trues would be more appreciated.

-reading (mysteries, scary stuff, crime novels)

-house plants & flower garden (I have a veg garden, but that's work not really fun)

-Home & Garden TV (love all the home improvement/reno/decorating stuff; crush on Mike Holmes 'cuz he can 'Make it Right' MEOW!)

Favourite colours: most shades of purple, pinks, peacock blue, teal

Biggest vice: microwave popcorn, extra buttery.
