Hi Everyone!!

I'm Vanne and I am from the San Francisco Bay Area. My Husband and I live in Benicia, CA which is a little harbor town where ships and trains carry cargo in and out of the bay. The downtown is just like an old fashioned Main Street with cute little shops, restaurants and historic sights. It was once the State Capital.

We have such a great lifestyle living by the water as we spend evenings walking around the Marina or just hanging out on a bench and watch the sunset after we get off work.

Every day we say to each other "We Have the Best Life Ever!"

I swap ATCs, Rolos, Altered Tags and Art Journaling pages and supplies. I also swap and collect Postcards especially Vintage PCs, Playing Cards as well as Vintage Greeting Cards.

Most of my projects include Mixed Media Collage, Stamping, Hand Painting and other Collage techniques. I just starting making Resin Jewelry, using and making molds for casting. I am all about trying new ideas and my style is always evolving as I learn so much from all of you talented swap partners. I am always amazed by what you do!

I am so very thankful for all the incredible and generous friends that I have made here on swap-bot and I adore all the beautiful little pieces of art that I am receiving and treasuring.

MY FAVORITE THEMES:

MYSTICAL: Illusionists, Fortune Tellers and Crystal Balls, Astrology, Moons and Stars. I collect Tarot and Oracle Cards from various decks.

NAUTICAL: Coastal, Boating, Yacht club, Sailboats and Anchors. Anything Cruise Ship related. Whales and Sea Creatures.

DANCERS: I love all types of dancing. I grew up doing Ballet and I have always wanted to learn Ballroom dancing and Salsa. I am a little obsessed with Flamenco dancers and love images of dancers from all over the world.

TROPICAL: Anything Hawaiian, Exotic Flowers, Beaches with Sunsets, Hula Girls, Tikis, Palm Trees and Cocktails. Flamingos are my favorite Birds but I love all Exotic Birds especially Parrots.

SINFUL LADIES: Pin Up Girls, Vintage Nudes, Burlesque Dancers, Saloon Girls, etc.

BUDDHA, YOGA & MEDITATION

FLOWERS AND GARDENS: I have always wanted to have a big beautiful garden. I love all flowers especially Roses. Cactus plants and succulents are my favorite.

FINE ART: I enjoy going to the Art Museums and have been very lucky to have seen many of the great Arts. I especially love the French Impressionists and Nudes in Fine Art. Asian Art and Native American Art.

TOTALLY 80'S: I had my Sweet Sixteen in 1984 and I am nostalgic and inspired by all the 80's music, styles, movies and pop culture. Love Prince and Madonna.

FABULOUS 1950'S: Love Poodle Skirts, Sock Hops, Cruising the Main Street, Drive Ins, really anything from this era.

PARIS: French, Eiffel Tower, Moulin Rouge, Can Can Dancers, Paris in the 1920's, Josephine Baker and Marie Antoinette. Art Nouveau and the Belle Epoch.

VINTAGE: Vintage Sun Bathers, Circus and Beach Themes, Romantic Couples and Flappers are some of my favorite.

WINE COUNTRY: We live about a half an hour away from the Napa Valley and spend a lot of time there as well as Sonoma.

SESAME STREET AND THE MUPPET SHOW

1967: The year I was born and I love anything having to do with the Summer of Love and Flashbacks from the 1960's.

ANIMALS WEARING PEOPLE CLOTHES AND DOING HUMAN ACTIVITIES. I think it's the cutest thing ever!! If you send me anything with a Frog wearing a Crown I would be super excited.
