ME: I am an Evangelical Christian, with a gifted teenage daughter, and two sons in their early 20's from a previous marriage. My husband and I have been together for 15 years. We live in Auckland, New Zealand. I have 3 dogs: a black labradoodle, a yellow cocker-doodle, and a white Samoyed. I also have 2 black cats, and a handful of tropical fish.

I work full time as a Biomedical Technician, and I'm studying part time, 1 paper per semester, doing a Bachelor of Theology.

WHAT I LOVE TO DO: I’m a bit of a magpie – pretty pretty, shiny shiny: I love to collect all sorts of papers, including scrapbook papers, wrapping paper, origami paper, wrappers etc. I love interesting fabrics – particularly those suitable for art-quilting. Bits of dried plants and other bits and pieces that catch my eye, broken bits off the machines I fix. I rust-dye paper and fabric. I work in encaustic, plaster, mixed media, paper and fabric, and rust-dyed fabric. I make mini-books, cards, art journals, miniature art quilts.
