My package from the Cat Toy Swap package showed up today. My son picked up the mail and put it on the dining table while I was cooking. I heard some thumping and turned around to see our 13 year old crotchedy cat up on the dining table, shuffling the mail. I shooed her off the table and went back to cooking.
A few minutes later I heard a thud - and I turned around to see the same cat nudging the box across the kitchen floor. My daughter came into the room and asked what in the world I could be swapping that could drive Kismet crazy like that. Then I remembered what I was expecting!
I opened the box while she tried to climb up my legs and immediately gave her one of the toys. She rolled around and played with it for about 30 minutes - that is a record for her attention span!
And thank you for the awesome clay!!! I'm going to make something cool and maybe pay it forward :)
