WOW! MY STUDENTS AND I WERE BLOWN AWAY BY THE SUPER-SIZED SURPRISE THAT ARRIVED BY MAIL TODAY! A SENT NAKED GORILLA! You will be receiving letters from the students soon. They loved it, Hunny. Thank you so much. The timing couldn't have been better; we had just finished reading and listening to Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, and we were getting ready to write and draw about the story when the great ape arrived. Needless to say, we didn't get to the writing today, but we will tomorrow. I bet I have even more creative writing because of your gift. The secretary who delivered the "mail" was in on the fun, and even the principal had to come down and investigate. That's her in the photo with the kids holding up their books. Once I get him settled (the kids are not done playing with and looking at him), I will send you a picture of where he ends up perched in our classroom. I love, love, LOVE it and YOU!
LOve the deer and the bird on my profile. Thanks. I once saw a deer and my neighbors white fluffy cat play together in our field. I live near the edge of town facing a big field. My sister sees 2 baby fawn right now by her house by mine all the time.
