Hello! This is your introduction for the Transcendence profile comment. I am also a fan of Jasper Fforde! Rebecca is also on my favorites list, and Wodehouse, Tolkien, Durrell, Herriott, etc. I read all of the TinTin and Asterix in my youth as well.I would be interested in hearing abut the translations of Bengali kid lit you mention! Obviously I red the Moomin books as well, so you can discern that Ido enjoy lit for all ages :0) Happy New Year! (to name an SRK movie I had fun watching )
Here is a slightly belated big Thank You for the RAK woven postcard! I saw these three siblings portrayed in a book from the 1800s at work! In that depiction, they looked like little snowmen. I enjoyed learning more about them. I appreciate the lovely bright painting.
Yay! It made it!!! Thank you so much for angeling my AMA Nostalgic Bird Swap! I love sparrows too and especially love stories about how animals and birds got their colors! We used to have lots of the small brown birds here, and fed them during the winter, but we have not seen any this year. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
