I've lived in the desert of western Arizona since 2020. I bought a little over an acre. My mom died a year after we moved here. I'm pretty much retired since I moved, due to the scamdemic. I do sell on eBay and Mercari.

I also have 2 dogs - Nikky - 14 years old - Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix - raw fed; & Spencer - 4 months old - Chihuahua/Terrier mix - raw fed 1 cat - Scotty - 4 years old - raw fed; 2 doves - Big Boy and Doveling - 14 and 9 years old

I am trying to get creative again!

I live out in the desert. I don't get my mail every day as the box is 2 miles away, but I try to stop by the box a couple times a week. I try to rate as soon as I open my mail.

I try to always mail by the deadline or before. If you do not receive something, PLEASE make sure to contact me about it before rating.

I had issues with one swapper (back in early 2011) about one of my sends and she gave me a poor rating. She did not like my first send, so I offered to resend. She then said she did not receive my resend. I have offered to send copies of my Postal receipts/customs receipt, but she never responded. I have spent more on this one swap trying to satisfy her than I have on any 5 other swaps! It's very frustrating. She gave me a one rather than a 3!

I recycle nearly all the packaging I receive - envelopes/mailers, boxes, bubble wrap, tissue paper, newspaper, etc. I also use clean/unused butcher paper, paper grocery bags, etc.

I watch over-the-air TV; whatever I can get with an antenna. I mainly watch ION, ION Plus and ION Mystery. I love detective shows. Murdoch Mysteries, CSI Miami, Midsomer Murders, Sue Thomas FBI and Scorpion are my current favorites. I also love The Magnificent Seven series.

I love so many different crafts. I'm hoping to get back into sewing soon. I also do paper crafts. I do a lot of graphics art on my computer (fanart, etc.)

I love good cozy mysteries (Lilian Jackson Braun, Agatha Christie, etc.) I read a lot of non-fiction (cooking, nature, dyi, crafting ...) I enjoy good m/m romances.

I do not read anything political, politicians, financial, business, etc. I don't like thrillers, gore, religious, espionage, war, or girly romances.

I love anything oldies (Pre-1970), other than a rare few that are more recent (BeeGees, John Denver, John Barrowman ...)

Faves include Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, Burl Ives, Doris Day, Jo Stafford, among others.

I eat an animal-based 'diet'. It's more a life-style than a 'diet' ... This means I eat animals nose-to-tail (including dairy), but also honey and some fruits.

I do drink herbal teas, love anything fruity. Not really a fan of black, oolong, Earl Grey types.

Allergic to oranges, rose hips, jasmine, eucalyptus, chamomile, mushrooms, avocado, birch trees, ragweeds, flax, pines.

I don't eat candy. I do occasionally eat chocolate bars (Theo is a favorite brand.)

I will pass on foods I won't/can't use. :)

Favorite swaps are anything electronic, wacky holiday swaps, decluttering swaps, happy mail swaps, crafty swaps, thrift store swaps.

Due to cost, I can only do Regional/USA for physical mail swaps.

Please don't send anything religious.
