Hi! Here is a Butterfly profile deco as a thank you for hosting July's Butterfly Bingo.
The Pipevine Swallowtail (Battus philenor) of North America and Central America is black with iridescent blue hind wings.

They are found in many different habitats, but most commonly in forests. The black or red caterpillars feed on pipevine (Aristolochia) species, making them poisonous as both larvae and adults, while the adults feed on the nectar of a variety of flowers.
Trying this again! I sent from my phone the first time and the photos were huge! :(
I chose the butterfly, Papilio phorcas, also called Green Banded Swallowtail because green butterflies are my most favorite! It is a butterfly from Afrotropic ecozone (Africa). The first description was in 1775 by Cramer. The wingspan is about 8 – 9 cm. Papilio phorcas is a member of the family PAPILIONIDAE. The butterfly is black with broad, green bands and areas. Hind wings have tails.
Hi! Here are your pix for BLG ~ Butterfly profile deco ლ JUNE.
I chose the Monarch butterfly of North America. After years of suffering steady declines in its numbers, researchers at the Mexican National Commission of Protected Natural Areas and the World Wildlife Fund said they observed a 225% increase from 2015 to 2016 in common habitat areas. Planting milkweed at schools, highways and other urban environments can help the monarch population rebound to the goal of 225 million Monarchs established for 2020. (http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/27/)
A butterfly with transparent wings? Surely not. Yet there is a species that exhibits this trait. Take a close look at the incredible Glasswing, an enchanting species that confounds science.
Greta oto may sound like the name of a silent movie star from Eastern Europe but is in fact the scientific name for one of the most exquisite – and little known – species of butterfly on the planer. This butterfly’s claim to fame is that its wings, spanning up to six centimeters, are almost completely transparent. That’s right, you can see just about right through them. source (http://www.arkinspace.com/2011/07/incredible-glasswing-butterfly.html)

Choose 1 Butterfly and paste 3 pictures of it ;-)
The European Peacock, more commonly known simply as the Peacock butterfly, is a colourful butterfly, found in Europe and temperate Asia
as far east as Japan.
Beautiful coloring and spots that look like eyes to scare off enemies
The Underwing is so different. It can be camo too.
**This is for the BLG ~ Butterfly profile deco ლ JUNE **
I choose the Papilionidae (swallowtails) Butterfly They are large in size and can be easily recognized for their flying technique as they tend to glide rather than making rapid beating movements with their wings.
