We celebrated our tenth year anniversary this year on April 24. I have 2 of my own kids and hubby has 3. Mostly all grown now, 'cept the youngest who thinks she is all grown at 17!

I love crafting, any kind really - wood, fabric, paper, plastic, yarn - you name it i bet i have tried it! I enjoy working with quilts, yo-yos, wood painting - just finished painting an Unicorn i made myself out of wood

Currently working on memory boxes with my daughter. I made both girls each one a few years back for Christmas and now my daughter has asked for a second one, since the first is all full of her special stuff. these are only small, maybe a bit bigger than a photo box, we haven't fully decided how we are doing them yet - so far we just painted over the original design to hide it.

I made several dryer balls recently, these take a lot of time to finish. I love them when done, they work great!

A couple months ago I tried making my own laundry soap. That stuff is great! Cheaper than the store bought stuff [you know, tide and cheer etc] and works just as well. We have also eliminated the [Downey/Snuggle] by using vinegar - same results, less strong smell - the one aisle i can never go down in stores is the laundry aisle, the smell is too much for me and induces migraines. Our homemade laundry soap has no scent unless i put in essential oils

I make most of all the cards I hand out. I use typical scrapbook supplies for them. I have created several albums in the past, it has been a few years since i have done anything that is officially scrapbooking. I have altered several boxes and board books.

I am smoke-free for several years now and I never smoked in my house, therefore all my craft items are smoke-free. They are as pet free as they can be even though we do have a cat in the house. My craft room is locked from the cat. So if you have a cat allergy then we would not be able to be swap partners.

I cannot eat beef or pork or onions or chocolate or dairy or green veggies or salsa or garlic or ... well you get the idea... if I ate the diet my body says I can eat alone I would be healthier, lose weight and who knows what else but i would be bored out of my gourd. I am also very sensitive to smells, I cannot go near the laundry aisle within stores. Strong purfume gives me a migraine.

Update: I have slowly been eliminating boxed foods and many of the above named foods from my diet and bet you will not believe what has happenned?

did you guess losing a few pounds? Whoot! Yep, haven't weighed myself but my clothing are definitely fitting better. and the elimination has not been that hard with my family helping me and doing it too. Not bad if i say so myself! Oh and another amazing thing, our grocery bill has shrunk even though we spend more on fresh foods than ever before.

I own a Cricut Expression and many cartridges, so if you are ever my partner in a swap and if there is an image you would love to get your hands on, LMK and i can whip one out for you - sorry to say i cannot read minds, so if you want it you need to ask! I need to know the colour and desired height.

Check out the Cricut website to see what stuff i can cut based on the above list - i need to know if you want a character if you want traditional colours or if you want fancy and how high you want it. These do take time and paper.

I did add that widget and put in a few things They are just to give ideas if ever needed of some of the stuff I like. I don't want anyone getting the wrong idea and think i have to have them or else.

I am highly interested in homemade soaps - be it shampoo bars or hand bars or bath bars. My family now uses only shampoo bars for our hair, but i still have yet to find one i love, i hate too much scent - like Lush bars and others won't work on my type of hair, though i will continue trying to find the perfect bar. We are doing all we can to elminate waste in our household, this is just another step in that direction - no more bottles to toss away! We were using reusable grocery bags before it became the in thing to do I made a few vegetable bags for the grocery store, though not enough. I take in a bag into every store i go into and if i forget i will carry the item to my car sans bag. No more plastic store bags will be allowed entry into my house!

Me thinks I need to reorganize these tabs one day soon, my info is so choppy because that is how i added it - as i thought of it i tossed it in here! I hope you enjoyed reading more about me, as always, i love hearing your responses and love mail!
