About Me!

Hi there! I'm a family girl. I'm the second child born to wonderful parents and the proud sibling of a younger sister and older brother.

I married my best friend and partner in crime about three years ago and couldn't be happier! We rescued our kitty, Sox, from a shelter and she's happily living the life of spoiled cat ever since. Her favorites include watching me sew, trying to get my fabric scraps to play with, sitting in the kitchen while I cook, hoping to get a bit of lettuce if its salad time or waiting to see what's cooking in the stove.

Hubby, Sox and I live in the perfect house for us; a friend of mine calls it our cottage. It’s cute and surrounded by grass, a whole new environment for a city girl like me. Each morning I'm treated to a vision of birdies on my lawn and a bunny or two hopping in the yard. I love the quietness of the suburbs and the ability to visit the city which makes me appreciate the suburbs more.

I work as an office manager, IT help desk, hr/pr manager, executive assistant, notary and sometimes personal assistant for a company in Center City Philadelphia.

I earned my Associates Degree in Business from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree from Temple University, majored in Psychology and a minor in Religion.

I'm a Catholic and I took every opportunity in college to learn about all types of religions and enjoyed it immensely. I learned so much from my courses, how to enter an intelligent conversation to discuss one's religion and ask questions of another individuals' belief to understand and appreciate their views. I visited all denomination Churches in the Philadelphia area and was able to witness a Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremony.

I love to organize and purge unnecessary items for a household, just ask my mom!

Everything! Right now on my Zune I have a great playlist containing Christian Music from Kutless, Jars of Clay, MercyMe, the Newsboys and Jaci Velasquez, as well as music from Daughtry, Maroon 5, Sara Evans, Billy Idol, Sting, Hall and Oats, ABBA, Dave Matthews Band, Harry Bellafonte, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Carlos Ponce, Shakira, and Laura Pausini to name just a few. Yup I love my Zune; it helps me keep my day job going smoothly.

There are so many but I always come back to Anne of Green Gables and Pride and Prejudice. I also love the entire Harry Potter collection and The Pact and the 10th Circle by Jodi Piccolt. Janet Evanovich cracks me up with her Plum stories too! I also enjoy reading children's books by Oliver Dundrea about Gossie, Boo Boo and her friends to my nieces.

All kinds! I've always been digging my hands into creative arenas. I am a scrapbooker, card maker, baker and cake and cookie decorator. I'm always willing to learn new things in the crafting world.

I'm a newbie sewer; I started approx. 1 year ago when my sister enrolled in a beginning sewers class with my sister and mom. I loved it! I've made grocery bags, a lunch bag, wristlets and stuffies.

Unfortunately I’m not a fan of hot pink or any neon colors, animal prints, abstract art, and celebrities featured on any items. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, gives me a horrible migraine.
