I am married and have an amazing husband and even after 17 years everytime I even think about him my heart skips a beat. We live in Orlando in a town house on a beautiful lake with lots of old oak trees with birds, ducks, turtles and even an owl a few trees away...we are truly blessed as we both love nature and animals.

Additionally we love going to the beautiful parks we have in the area. In summer it is a bit hot for long visits but in the fall, winter and spring we spend lots of time at parks. We have one near by that has a wonderful rose garden that you can sit in and just enjoy the view and scents of the combined roses. It is heavenly.

We have two little kitty girls...Samantha 17 and Chloe Rose 3, we love and adore them both.

We are both fairly artistic and love drawing, painting and writing. I have a passion for paper arts and have for a very long time. I love and have kept a journal for many years and find it a very relaxing way to unwind at the end of the day simply sharing my thoughts and feelings.

I love to read and do it every day. I prefer non-fiction and inspirational type books. My favorite writers are Sheila Walsh, Marianna Williamson, recently discovered Mike Dooley and Sabrina Ward Harrison, she is a great artist and creates beautiful art journals with wonderful thought provoking prompts.

I am the type of person who is always reading more than one book at a time. I have a stack by my bedside that I can't wait to get to every evening.

My husband and I both enjoy music over televison. We listen to a lot of classical style music but also enjoy Blind Melon, Hall & Oates, John Mayer to name a few.

Art is like my air to breath. I have to do it every single day or I feel like something is missing. I do some drawing and painting but I especially like paper arts. I love creating books and journals with lots of art and inspirational words that I find beautiful.

I am currently working on creating journals for all the girls in my sunday school class of which there are eight of them and I've completed one. Each one takes me about nine hours so I try to create one every week, although I have other things to do so don't always make that goal.

I do like scrapbooking but how I work with papers and such isn't really scrapbooking it is more collage art. My style is very shabby chic.

My husband and I aren't real movie going people although we sometimes will rent a movie. We really like period piece types of movies such as Remains of the Day, Enchanted April, Room with a View, End of the Affair...some of our favorites.

Not a lot of time to watch TV at our house as we always have other things to do. Will watch news in the morning prior to going to work and sometimes in the evening will watch different news type shows. On rare occasions a move might peak our interest.

I have been involved in various swaps throughout the years and have always loved it. I really adore snail mail as it is just so much fun receiving something through the mail...other than bills.

Please pm me if you do not receive an item from me as I will always send prior to the due date. I will never flake as I'm just not that type of person. I won't join a swap if I do not have the time to make the item(s).

I really look forward to the day that I can begin creating my own swaps from bookmarks to maybe even zines.
