My name is Megan, and I am 29 years old living in the great state of Maryland, approx. 20 minutes from Washington D.C. and just about 30 minutes from downtown Baltimore. I am a proud wife and a mother to 2 awesome kids (Amelia,9 and Parker,4) whom keep me very busy! I also work full time outside the home and am a consultant for Thirty-One (when I find the time). I mainly love swapping postcards, but am open to other swaps as well.

I have a very eclectic taste in music. On the radio, I typically listen to country and every now and again I'll listen to some pop. My daughter usually wins out though, and I end up listening to some rather horrible kids songs! My CD and ITunes collections consists of a lot of musicals, Michael Buble, Bon Jovi, Katy Perry, Casting Crowns, The Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons, etc. I love the WICKED and CHESS soundtracks... I'm a huge Idina Menzel fan... (long before her Glee appearances)!

I love to read and have read more books than I'll ever remember. The books I've easily read more than once, or stick out in my mind at this second are Gregory Maguire's "Wicked," Son of a Witch"; the Harry Potter books; "The Lovely Bones"; any Jodi Picoult novel; I like James Patterson, even though he has a new novel every 2 weeks; Stieg Larsson's Milennium trilogy; Gillian Flynn novels; The Hunger Games Trilogy. I would love to get great book recommendations if you have any!

My favorite movie would have to be Wizard of Oz. I find it witty and still relevant. I would love to get things, anything, related to the movie/Baum books. I really enjoy the 1st illustrations done for the novel, very vintage! This has led me to love the Wicked the Musical Broadway play, but especially the novel by Gregory Maguire (I think I've read it half a dozen times). I like shows like 48 Hours Mystery, Cops, Bones, Criminal Minds and I shamefully get caught up in all kinds of reality TV.

Please DON'T send me the following items... I'd hate to waste your things, but I simply don't use these.

• Makeup of any kind (I go au naturel)
• Beauty products (hair, lotions, etc.)
• Earrings (I wear the same pair everyday)
• Perfume (only deodorant for this girl)
• Food or drink (too many allergies in our house)
• Neon colors
• I hate loose glitter... my daughter brings enough of it home from school! LOL
• Ad cards, unless I join a swap for them
• Freebies that you get in the mail from charities asking for a donation in return, you know what I'm talking about... I get them too, and know when they are one! :)

Please don't waste postage on items of this nature, save them for the next swapper who might enjoy them:)

Postcards I would prefer:

• Anything from my "LIKES" list
• Typical state or "greetings from" PC's
• The bigger it says the city or state name, the better!
• I'm fond of PC's with cutouts in them (made that way, not cutouts by the sender)
• UNESCO PC's
• Size 4x6 preferred, so I can put them in photo albums

I see this disclaimer on just about everyone's profile, so I feel it necessary to add one in my own words. I promise to send my swaps on time, do them to the best of my abilities, and rate all swaps the day I get them. If for some act of God I am unable to send a swap on time, I will contact you as soon as possible to explain. All I ask for is the same in return. Also, I'm pretty picky about giving hearts. I give hearts for effort, time, and thoughtfullness (and of course if the rules of the swap are followed).
