i like to make jewelry and all kinds of odd little craft projects, mainly a la readymade or craft magazine. i sew a bit, but not as well as i'd like too. sometimes i sew little felt animals on sweaters and purses.

i would love to receive: anything music or book related, pretty much anything from buyolympia, zines/handmade books, anything doggie or kittie related (or hippos. or llamas. i just like animals) and anything either crocheted or felted. one of my favorite things to get in the mail is a handmade card or collage. i also love random ephemera, and long swirly letters.

as far as crafts i like that other people make - any kind of knitted lingerie or socks; felted objects of all kinds, especially brooches; bags and purses; furniture and lamps; handmade clothing; toys & treats for my doggie; and paper goods. i love stamps and woodcuts. right now i'm in love with the small object (www.smallobject.com) and nikki mcclure (www.nikkimcclure.com).

but i'm always open to new music! i love nothing more than getting a mix tape filled with music i've either never heard of or haven't yet heard enough of.

huge nerd of the sci-fi and reality tv variety. project runway, battlestar galactica, america's next top model, star trek, the daily show/colbert report, cable news (like eating a bowl of ice cream for breakfast. sometimes i just can't help myself, but i always regret it later), sherlock holmes, poirot, firefly, futurama, king of the hill, celebreality.
