hi. humm what can i say about me??? hummmm.. i am a 50 year old.. boy that is scary. 50!! i am a mom to two great young men. both of my boys have moved out and i am very much enjoying the empty nest. i am very proud of my boys. my oldest (25) is an iraq vet and graduated from college with a criminal justice degree and is now working and just bought his first home. my younger son(22) bought a home 2 years ago and is in college to be a nurse. they are great men. i pat pat pat myself on the back for doing such a good job with them. my husband is a great guy too. we have been married 26 years. OK , enough about those men in my life.

i enjoy doing crafts of all kinds i sew, my latest things are bags from recycled clothing.... this means... i find gorgeous skirts, dresses, pants, etc from the local resale shop or garage sales and refashion them into cute bags. bags for grocery stores and bags for purses... they really are quite cute and fun to make. i quilt. i have two different quilts in the works right now. one is fall colors and the other is out of christmas fabric. ok i lied i also have a 3rd that is tea fabric and tea embroidered (thanks to my sister) blocks. it is in pastel colors. i crochet (tho i havent in years)and cross stitch ( another thing i havent done for a long time) my poor old eyes dont see good enough to do cross stitch anymore :( i like to scrapbook. i make beaded jewelry too. i make beautiful cards. and tea bag folding. i use them on cards and the scrapbook pages. they are really neat. i love rubber stamps too. and almost anything that could be used on a scrapbook page or a card. I do flowers for weddings and proms. love it.. it is fun to make something for someones special day. i like to read but dont have the time. i play on the computer. mostly on facebook. what a wonderful way to keep in touch with family and friends from all over the world. i have reconnected with friends i havent seen in 30 years. what a great gift the internet is..

i enjoy tea. please dont send me any tea. i love it but i have so many i need to use up. my tea swap partners have been so generous... thank you lots.......prefer black teas i have quite a collection of pretty tea cups and saucers as well as teapots and other pretty little things that go well with taking tea., i enjoy almost any kind. i like loose teas. they are the best ever!! but i also love the other as well. chai is wonderful, mint, chamomile, vanilla, most any thing is good. i havent found too many i dont enjoy.i love loose teas. they are the best. i am not only into tea but love coffee as well. especially hazelnut and vanilla.

i love to travel. my ultimate job would be one that takes me all over the world and lets me explore different countries and cultures. i especially love cruising. My girlfriends and i took a cruise from NYC last year. We had so much fun. Three of the 9 went to NYC a day early and met up with a friend we hadnt seen in 30 years. but thanks to facebook, talk to often. we went to New England and Canada. It was a great trip. We saw so many things in NYC and on the cruise. This was my second cruise last year. My sons, hubby and I spend a week in the Caribbean last winter and a little time in Texas with my sisters family. The latest trip made my 7th cruise. my hubby and i actually met on one in 1984. My boys loved it. they are hooked too and will go on others. yay... as long as they take their momma.... what a great way to spend time with family and friends, This fall my DH and i went to Vegas for a few days. What fun that was.. I even got to meet a friend from Swap-bot. We had alot of fun in the quilt shops. And of course i love love love shopping. i love resale shops. you never know what you will find there. i have started making atc. they are really really cute. i had never heard of them until i came to swap-bot. but they are really cute.

My favorites are pink blue lavender. violets, lilacs roses lilies lily of the valley, tea cups and teapots and related items. and Of Course. Jewelry. My hubby say he just has to buy me rocks and i will be happy. little shiny rocks

I like most anything.

I like movies and tv shows. My favorites are Survivor, Big Brother, the Biggest Loser,House, Greys Anatomy CSI NCIS the Voice. There used to be alot that I liked but not so much anymore. Most of the movies we watch anymore are from the $5.00 bin at Walmart. haha We are cheap.. i do like Ghost, Indiana Jones, National Treasure, Da Vinci Code, Hook, most any. i dont like gory movies at all.

I dont like== people who are fake and/or manipulative or just plain MEAN. Thank God I just got a new job that i love. and now I dont have to deal with mean people every day. I dont like goth things, gory things, or porn

I love county music and oldies from the 70's and 80's I hate head banging music or rap.

I live in the country. I wouldnt give up the space and freedom and solitude that is in the country to live in the city for anything. Too many people in too small area....

I have three dogs. a giant black lab named Max and a little fox terrier named Peewee. We recently adopted Sqeakers. She is a mini dachshund fyi Squeakers is an inside dog. Peewee is also an inside dog. at least a couple of days a week. He travels on the semi with my husband the rest of the week. They and the cats have some access to my craft room. I will do my best to not allow them in there while i am making your swap, but no guarantees. I also have a giant white bird, named Cysco. He is a cockatoo. and we just recently added two grey kitties. named Cat1 and Cat2 such as thing 1 and thing2 from the Cat in the Hat.haha. So now we have a dog, a bird and two kitties around here.

I like most anything. I love to try a new craft too. and don't be surprised if you send me something and the first thing I do is to take it apart to figure out how it is made. I have done this many times.. I will appreciate most anything if you take the time to make something and put your love in it. I am not much into Hello Kitty or Kaiwai.

i love antiques dishes mostly, tea cups and saucers, utensils, linens. tea pots, candle sticks. depression glass. furniture. and antique toys...

cute brads. rubber stamps clear stamps. sizzix dies paper punches anything that i mentioned above fabric pieces (quilting sized) anything hand made is wonderful. if you took the time to make something i am sure i will love it most anything.

scrapbook papers, cheap brads, rubber stamps, tiny punches, fat quarters, die cut pieces. (anyone have a sizzix or those kind of cutters =awesome), stamps from another country, small coins from another country, cute buttons, nice ribbons, atc papers

I am adding another paragraph to my profile. I dont really care for the stuffees or dotees. They are cute but just not my thing. I am not a big fan of green tea either. Love black, i dont hate green just prefer black. I am not a fan of Hello Kitty or Kawaii either. I don't cross stitch any more. i really enjoyed it when i did it but my eyes arent what they used to be anymore :(
