Hi Swap-Bot Community!

Boy am I excited to have stumbled upon this mail-swapping community! I absolutely LOVE sending and getting snail mail, but my in-real-life friends and family don't have the same affinity for the post. I fully believe in the 'send more mail' movement and wish email, twitter, snapchat and instagram weren't replacing old school packages and letters. I am very active on Postcrossing, but am looking for other ways to meet fun, mail-loving people around the world who are interested in more than just the Postcrossing-transaction of a postcard :)

I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area (California, USA), but have bounced all over the US across my lifetime (Oklahoma, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia.... phew!). I'm in my early-30's, but the older I get the more I realize I've only begun to LIVE :) I love to travel and have been to over 25 countries around the globe (Hungary is my favorite place to travel to outside of the US... but I keep traveling all over the world to find new "favorites!). My favorite thing is to learn about wonderful lives others live through small details like favorite recipes (I love to cook!), grocery/to-do lists, 24-hr summaries, ticket stubs, workout lists, playlists, notes about favorite socks, random pics of places/things/people.... you get the point :) In 2016 I started my own digital marketing consultancy in effort to have more work-life balance by being my own boss. (Girl bosses rock!!). So far I enjoy the challenge and freedom, but have found the "balance" is more "work, work, work". Getting (and sending) mail forces me to slow down and focus on human life instead of just work! I am a fur-mom to two dogs: a Boston Terrier, named Mini, and a Jack Russell, named Jack. And I'm engaged to the love-of-my-life & best friend, Rob. (We hope to get married in 2017!). I'm sure that I'll find more "stuff" to add to my profile as I participate in the community (just joined on 12/30/16!), but hope this mini-introduction is enough to allow me entrance into some of your fun, swapping circles!
