I am currently a stay-at-home mum to a 3 year old girl and twin boys that were born may 2012. Life gets chaotic with 3 toddlers however that is when quilting and patchwork or even sewing in general gives me the much needed haven of tranquility.

My one BIG passion (beside my toddlers) is patchwork/Quilting. I love the endless possibilities and the puzzle side of it.

Fabrics I tend to the more modern and lighter fabrics, however part of the is getting swaps that I would never have picked and making them work. My motto (would I have one) would have to be a girl can never have enough fabric.

I am beginning to discover the online possibilities of the quilting/patchwork communities with blogs and now the swaps.

I would really appreciate if you can contact me before hand as I use the different (block) swaps into different projects and so my preferences do tend to change per project. I tend to do the same to my swapping partners.

I rate on the day I receive your swap. I am generous with hearts and do not need any extra's for that. I also understand that life happens, God knows it happens to me, but PLEASE PLEASE COMMUNICATE! I take pride in sending all of my swaps early and will do my very best for that. Should 2 weeks have past the deadline and you have not received anything then please contact me I will be happy to resend. (so far so good all my swaps have arrived safe and sound) I don't expect my partners to have this same pride, however a deadline is a deadline and if your envie was sent late (postdate) and you have not contacted me I will rate you a 3. Because it doesn't take much effort to drop a quick line to say Sorry I will be 2 days late sending, and it is just disrespectful if one doesn't.

To make you envie arrive on my doorstep that much quicker I would like to stress to fill out the customs declaration!!

In Germany they tend to be very strict especially when it comes to fabric from the US. But just like I didn't have to resend anything so far to date I have also received every swap :)
