I love to get mail! I am sorely disappointed with my family members who don't seem to understand that I love to hold the paper in my hands, see the postmark, and enjoy the beauty of the stamps. They like to email, but I love snailmail! Swapbot members and postcrossers understand this, but most others don't.

I volunteer at the Senior Center gift shop near where I live. I also do demonstrations and food samples in local stores, on occasion.

My husband and I love Great Danes and have owned several of them in the past. My husband Tom bonded strongly with our most recent one, Baxter, who had passed away this past month. I used to take Baxter to the local care center where he would allow people to pet and hug him. He was always very careful not to move too quickly or startle anyone. He will be dearly missed.

Like I said before, I like getting letters and postcards in the mail. I really don't like "things" as I have no where to put them. Surprise me with a nice letter that tells me about your world and your travels, even if it is only to the local park. I haven't traveled much, only a move from Pittsburg. PA to Los Angeles, CA and now to Utah, so those are three places I know pretty well! (Oh, and one short trip to Hawaii in the 1960's).

My hearing is not so great anymore but I love the old time music of Frank sinatra, and the Big Bands.

I like animal movies

I like watching 60 minutes and political shows.

I like to tell people I am a "hooker" for the shock value, but basically it is because I love making latch-hook rugs! I also do cross stitch but the pattern has to be printed on the fabric. I do these crafts to stay awake at night while I watch TV - otherwise I would doze right off!
