Hi! I am 61 yrs old and I live in Branson, MO, with my husband and two dogs, Chloe and Cooper.

I've loved drawing since I was 8 yrs old when I would draw my favorite cartoon characters from the newspapers. My goal in life at that time for an 8 year old was to work for Hallmark. At the time I thought that was a great ambition. Later on in high school I would use art as a way to hid from my peers. Art has always been there for me when I was lonely but a career path was not in the cards.

When Covid hit I spent a lot of time rediscovering my love for art. Currently my favorite mediums are colored pencils. I also enjoy making cards, painting with acrylics or watercolors, scrapbooking, pencil and ink. I have read books on Zentangle and Celtic knot drawings I am pretty much a self taught artist. When I find something that interests me I try to research it as much as possible and then experiment.

I found out about this group and the hobby of ATC from a postcard penpal. The concept intrigued me and since I like to create works of art of all sizes I thought I would give it a try. I am definitely a newbie to this art form so helpful critique is welcomed and a dose of patience while I learn.
