About Me
Hi, I'm Jan and I live in the UK.
I am married with two grown up daughters and own two gorgeous doggies.
I am addicted to paper crafting and am lucky enough to do this as my job. I teach classes and demonstrate paper crafts now, after spending the last 14 years in the teaching profession.
I love anything to do with paper and enjoy card making, scrap booking, journaling, mini books, flip books, pocket letters, mixed media, ATCs. I love hoarding pretty papers and have a ton of them in my stash. I am fairly new to the world of snail mail, but so excited to find out that this world exists and can't wait to get involved.
When I'm not crafting I love to sit down with my two doggies and enjoy a good book. I love Fantasy Fiction and can easily get lost in those 'other' worlds. I also love Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code) and am also a big Harry Potter fan. My love of books has also been passed down to my eldest daughter, who is a writer.
Things I love: I am a chocoholic, love anything pink, love anything with polkadots or hearts, hoard pretty papers, love notebooks and stationery, have an addiction to washi tape and enamel dots, love lace, love flowers (especially gerberas) and butterflies, love the Santoro Gorjuss range and love my two little doggies to the moon and back! I love pastel colours (not brights) and adore the shabby chic and vintage styles that craft has to offer. I also like the Steampunk era too.
My guilty pleasure is watching 'chick flicks' and I have an impressive collection - my favourites include, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing and Top Gun. I also love a good musical - my favourite being Mamma Mia. I also love going to watch live performances too, and have seen Wicked, Dirty Dancing, Rock of Ages, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Lion King. The top of my current wish list would be The Phantom of the Opera.
I don't seem to get much chance to watch TV, but do love 'Game of Thrones' and 'The Vampire Diaries'.
I have very eclectic tastes in music, although I love a good boy band, I am a bit of a rock chick at heart.
I am looking forward to meeting some new crafty friends, and hope to join in some swaps very soon.

Hello Jan! I have been into paper crafting for 10 years and no looking back! So that is my guilty pleasure AND I'm a chocolholic as well. I have always wanted to visit UK but I guess its not going to happen in this life time. Oh well, I did however get to visit the USA quite extensively, and expensively too..lol shrug. maybe someday i will get to visit your country

I had a slight addiction to paper crafting, BUT my 2018 goal is to downsize, SO, right now I am just writing letters, and trying to downsize, so this fall I can update and get new in my collection.
When I was younger I always wanted to be a school teacher, BUT I am a full time mom studying holistic medicine (herbalism) I love that your able to teach what you LOVE.. paper crafting. That is so awesome
Notebooks, journals, and books are also a passion for me, I am always searching for that perfect pen to write with LOL
