I am 32 years old and live in Palmerston North, New Zealand. I am originally from London, Canada and have lived here in NZ for almost 5 years. I am married to a kiwi (he is the reason I made the move to NZ!)
I am a primary school teacher and before I moved here I taught gr 2 at a french immersion school in Canada. We don't have children yet but do have 3 cats and a 2yr old black lab, they keep us busy enough!

My favourite food would be chocolate but have recently cut back as I had a serious addiction!! Which is why I got back into exercise!!
I enjoy running and weight training. I have completed two 1/2 marathons and a few duathalons and triathalons. I love starting my day at the gym, it wakes me up and keeps me energised for the day.

I love travelling and experiencing new cultures. Our next trip is to Thailand in a few months:)

I have recently started a collection of "everything" to do with owls and Russian dolls.

I also enjoy baking, especially making cupcakes :)

I have a lot of different projects on the go at the moment but my favourite things to make are soft toys. I really like using "Melly & Me" patterns as well as making funky owls and monsters.
I have also recently taken a quilting class and have been making baby quilts for friends. I like funky yet vintage things. At the moment I'm really into any shade of green, mixing all sorts of patterns (polkadots, flowers, stripes etc) and colours.
I enjoy doing cross stitch while watching tv, it keeps me from eating too much chocolate, hehe.

I like watching Criminal Minds, CSI, Law & Order etc. However...my favourite type of show to watch is decorating shows!! I love watching shows that let you see the before and after.

Handmade soft toys/dolls, Vintage/funky fabric, Owls, Girlie colours-pinks,baby blues, purples,greys,yellow, Any shade of green, Silver jewelry, Black mascara, Funky makeup bags, Purses/handbags, Stickers, Tea Nature valley sweet'n salty granola bars(almond or peanut butter) we can't get them in New Zealand:(
