Let me introduce myself, my name is Jean-Baptiste, I live in Cognac, a small town of less than 20,000 inhabitants located in the south-west of France! I am a big nature and animal lover, my hobbies are wildlife photography, I like to spend a lot of time in nature to observe birds, insects and other wild animals. You will be amazed at what animals can be seen even in town! I also have many other hobbies, such as philately, I like collecting stamps, writing postcards, I am also registered on the postcrossing site, I also like to draw, but I lost my touch a bit and I draw less and less, I have to get back to it more precisely! One day, one day! I'm a bit of a procrastinator sometimes! For a few years, I also have a hobby that takes up a lot of space in my house, I made myself a mini cabinet of curiosities and antiques, I love it, it's so beautiful!! I like to collect and buy lots of little things to fill my shelves! I also really like bird feathers, I had a very nice collection, which I don't have anymore so I'm trying to get back to it a bit by picking up the feathers on the ground! I've been registered since 2022 but only started in September 2021!

In my spare time when I'm not out watching wildlife, I like to be creative, I like to invade my living room table with all my craft supplies and spend a lot of time making postcards, ATC's, envelopes etc. Everything I do hands calms me down!! I also like to watch movies and series, it's so much fun! Whether it's science fiction, detective stories, Christmas movies, etc. I like just about everything except horror movies!

I love everything that surrounds birds, animals, nature! I love old illustrations, old books, it's so good to smell old books, the smell of old papers, I love it!!! I don't like the smell of recent books except a few but the smell of old paper, I've never found one that I don't like! I would so love to have a collection of old Natural History books!

My favorite holidays are Christmas and Halloween. Why Christmas, I think I'm a big romantic, I love Christmas movies, Christmas carols, Christmas atmosphere basically everything around Christmas! I also like Halloween a lot, even if in France Halloween is more of a commercial holiday, unfortunately. I really like pumpkins, ghost stickers etc.

At home we have two cats, Nunuk and Julia, Nunuk is a gray and white cat that we adopted when he was still a kitten, now he is 13 and loves to play! Julia is a little cat who is now 8 years old, she is all gray and has beautiful green eyes. We found her in our garden when she was a kitten, she was very small. Her mother had taken her to our garden, then left the next day and left her kitten with us, we adopted her and since then she has lived with us and Nunuk in the house! Julia is also a very playful cat!
