My name is Marielle and I'm from the Republic of Ireland. I absolutely love collecting and swapping postage stamps. I have been collecting them since I was about 10 years old. I began swapping them a couple of years later when I began penpalling. I also collect foreign coins and postcards.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and friends, going to the beach, reading, chatting to friends on Facebook, sorting out my stamp albums, walking my dog (my dog's name is Flann and he is a golden labrador), listening to music and crafting.

I love all kinds of music - pop, rock, classical. I especially love music from the '60s. My favourite band is The Beatles.

I love reading. It is the perfect way to relax on a nice sunny day at the beach. I like novels, thrillers, chicklits, travelling and historical books. I especially love Agatha Christie and all the Harry Potter books.

I enjoy most kinds of movies but I don't enjoy horror and science fiction so much.

I enjoy watching anything presented by Ant and Dec (English presenting duo), Create and Craft, travelling shows and Eastenders.

I love crafts and have been crafting from a very early age.

I love the environment and love to craft with recycled material. I make little envelopes from clean used envelopes and paper beads from old magazines and catalogues. I make puppy and kitten toys for animal rescue homes from left over yarn, wool and fabric.

I have become addicted to swapping and creating label bags. I love and swap all kinds of label bags but I prefer small and neat bags. I am always looking for excess label bags and excess address labels as I am always running out of them :o)
