I am a student who has been an arts & craft lover all my life. I love animals and have a dog, 3 cats, and a fish. I love to get snail mail, and I love needlework. I am currently looking for a sewing machine and to learn how to sew by machine. I heart elephants, mushrooms, owls, eastern religious art, mix CDs, and just about anything handmade! I am totally new to swapping but have been interested in trying it for a while now. I am looking forward to meeting some new crafty people and learning some new things :)

I have been doing needlework for 20+ years, and my favorite is hand embroidery. I also like to doodle, make cards, a little scrapbooking, I still love to color, turning old things into new things, DIY stuff, and just recently I've been learning to sew on my new sewing machine and I have gotten onto a quilting kick! I love all kinds of arts and crafts and anything handmade/handcrafted.

I just started swapping, so I really hate to limit myself (I like the element of surprise in this!), but in case anyone needs ideas of things I would like, here are a few: Any type of embroidery supplies (floss,beads,etc), FABRICS!!!!, markers, I love blues and greens (but there aren't any colors I dislike), elephants, mushrooms, owls, ladybugs, anything involving PIN UP GIRLS (I love them soooo much!!), cats and dogs stuff, anything you make me ( I LOVE HOMEMADE!), journals, maps, ribbon, I love Edie Sedgwick (and I guess any retro "mod" stuff!) and Wonder Woman, Buddhas, MIXED CDs are my favorite : ), Ganesh, miniature things, stuffies/felties, Im easily amused and not easily offended. I don't know of any dislikes yet- sorry!

I have always wanted to decorate one Christmas tree with only handmade ornaments. However, out of my friends and family, I'm the "crafty" one, so I hope I can do some swaps for some handmade ornaments so I wont have to make all of them! I love seeing what others create ( spend way too much time looking at Flickr photos!) and would love to have some handcrafted goodness on my tree that someone else made : )
