I am 30 years old and happily married to my best friend who is the coolest guy ever. We have a little one year old son and I am home fulltime with him, which I love. We live in Boston and absolutely love it. I grew up in California and miss the beach everyday but am enjoying the east coast although I LOVE flip flops and wear them in the snow!!! I love to travel and read and do anything creative. I've spent time in Italy and the middle east and feel inspired by other cultures, music, art and history. I am a social worker and love helping make other's lives a little easier. I am a spiritual person and believe in honesty, kindness, equality and hard work. I absolutely love running and ran my first (hopefully of many) marathon 5 years ago. I love cooking but am usually too tired to do it much. I've been getting into antiques and collecting cool vintage treasures from thrift shops, yard sales, etc. And I love to blog, it's my only way of staying touch with friends and family because I'm not always so great at that!

Likes: pink, black, brown, turquoise, burgundy, bright colors, butterflies, angels, buttons, photography, sunshine, lighthouses, the beach, shells, vintage patterns, ephemera, antiques, polkadots, circles and stripes, poetry and quotes, journals, penguins, flip flops, Elvis, Harley Davidsons, beads, ATCs, anything you make!

Dislikes: Please nothing scented like lotion or incense, unless it is cinnamon, apple, pumpkin spice or vanilla scented, for some reason strong scents give me a headache.

Punk and alternative mostly, Green Day, Blink, Jimmy Eat World, Sublime, Beastie Boys, Angels and Airwaves, Boxcar Racer, Elvis, Christmas music, Italian music, All American Rejects, Dashboard Confessional, Yellowcard, A New Found Glory, good 80's stuff, dance music, anything that stirs up emotion and isn't played so much on the radio that I get sick of it!

Usually chick flicks and comedies, there's too much violence and heartache in the world to watch those kinds of movies as well, although I do love a good scary movie. I love Pride and Prejudice ( I could marry the Collin Firth version of Mr. Darcy!), Nacho Libre, The Notebook, The Family Stone, Music and Lyrics, Three Weeks Notice, Amazing Grace, Dreamgirls was great, Raising Arizona, Top Secret, The Northshore.
