Hi Ginger,
You are about the same age as my daughter, my daughter was born July 1,1983. Isn't being an Aunt GREAT!! I am now a Great Aunt twice. I babysit for my great niece alot but now that will change, they are moving to Charleston, SC next month. I love SC and wish I could live there. I would love to live near the ocean. People in the south are so friendly. I love pen pals like you and also got it from my grandmother!! I have 2 pen pals that I have written to since 1987. One lived in SC and I told my husband in 1994 I just had to go down there and meet her. Thus our first family vacation ever and it was to SC. We went to Myrtle Beach and went there again in 1995. Went to Surfside Beach in 2008, 2009 and 2010. See I told you I LOVE SC!! I have always wanted to learn Caligraphy also. I am really not into sports either but My hubby loves them all. Winter is gloomy here and seems like hubby is always glued to watching football, basketball or some other sport. LOL I love the picture of the shepherd and the lamb. Have a great summer!!
I don't know anybody in South Carolina and will most likely never go there so I think its kinda cool that your personality really comes through in your profile. Thank you!
Homeschoolers here (Australia) are a minority and generally you can only do it if you live in a regional area, but I've always been fascinated by it and would probably homeschool my own kids if I could. I'm guessing it requires a heap of discipline in committing to it- good on you for going all the way!
I'm about your age too (32) and my favourite music is from the '80s. Luckily a lot of the bands that I like from that time are still around or have reformed so are still coming out with hits and touring etc. Not sure how you'd go seeing '60s or '70s artists though!
I'm mad on the Twilight saga but I only own one Sookie Stackhouse novel- but I did see the first season on TV. I'm more into the movie and TV versions of the books I guess. I read and I go to the cinema- not much else to my life, really! In fact, most of my favourite movies were adapted from books. Go figure.
Good on you for putting in a section for your grandma- that's so cute. Has she received some surprises?
Hey Ginger,
Just letting you know, your letter arrives this mornig with no worries. It came so fast! normally it takes a few days to get post from the USA and what with it being Easter weekend NOTHING moves over here! So, I am going to write back to you and get it in the post ASAP. =)

Hi, Ginger! I received a chicken recipe from you, so I came to read your profile. About those vegetarian dishes, I bet I can turn you on to some you'd like, if you like spicy food. Not necessarily hot, just full of spices. I'm not a vegetarian, but I have tried to cut down on the meat we eat, and my oldest son converted to Orthodox Christianity, and they do a lot of no meat fasts. I have had to find some tasty vegan recipes for him. We are a family of Christians here, too. Good to have you on swapbot; hope we get to swap again. Just PM me if you want some recipes!
you were wondering what scenic viewcards were? that is another name for postcard, expecially the tourist type (like views of a city). hope this answers your question.
