we didn't see too much. went to the lgbtq center, a drag show, did a quick tour of the old city (which was nice)...that was about it. i think we were only there a day and a half.
ps i love the peas on earth pic. i didnt notice it until just now LOL!!!
Hi! I've seen you around the forums a lot, it's nice to actually have an excuse to say something directly to you.
I loved Farscape, and am just now getting into Fringe!
The number of languages you can speak is impressive, wow! I can't help but remark, like some other swap-botters, how wonderful it is that you've traveled to so many awesome places.
The poem you included on your profile is beautiful--in both the original German and the English translation.
I'm intrigued by Knorkator. Reading about them makes me want to listen to them, but it's 1 am at the moment and I don't want to wake anyone up! I'll put it on my "to-do list." ^^ I wonder if you like Rammstein at all? Though I heard that that band is more popular outside of Germany.
I hope you post more of your art on your Flickr, I'd love to see it!
Take care, Axinja!
~Jen, for the "Let's meet. Okay. My profile or yours?" swap, from the Team Darkness group.
Thanks! Yeah, Birthright is for people that are Jewish. You get a free 10 day trip to Israel. I went with 49 other queer people! It was really cool! But I'm not a partier either, so I also didn't really like Tel Aviv and would rather have spent more time in Jerusalem. The beach in T.A. was nice though.
Hi Axinja! I'm one of your partners for the "My profile of yours?" swap.
I totally agree about Disney and Pixar. Have you seen Toy Story 3? The imagery was so amazing. I was recently comparing it to the first two Toy Story movies and WOW it looks so amazing now. I'm not a Diddl fan either.
We have some similar likes too. I love religious items and icons. I also love skulls as well. Skulls are just so cool! I used to watch Reaper as well. Is that show on anymore? It was pretty comical! I have never heard of any of the movies you listed. I will have to look them up or watch previews on Youtube maybe.
I am so envious of the places you've traveled! Amazing! Your travels had to have been so neat and exciting. I wish I had the chance to be more adventurous and see the world.
"I do not wish to have contact with homophobics, racists, sexists and dumb people" This made me laugh and I completely agree!! Luckily, I haven't run across any of those here on swap-bot.
Is "A Friends Project" your blog? It's seems like a neat concept and I love, love the picture of the boat trip on the water. So pretty! Do you collect post cards? I love the one on your flickr with the trees, sunshine, and the walkway.
It was good getting to know you through you profile! I hope you have a fantastic day!!
