I see you are just starting to sew – good for you!
I have loved to sew since I was a little girl (my mother is an accomplished seamstress, tailor and pattern maker, so I was exposed to sewing early). It is actually a form of meditation for me now.
You might like to check out the Nuts for Sewing Group as we offer some sewing swaps for beginners there. We recently did a Beginners Potholder Swap and this tute has got to be one of the easiest I have ever seen!

Ha! Didn't see that link before! And it's really strange cause I wrote this page about reusing paper rolls! A friend of mine, who is also into reusing stuff for crafts, when she visited that page named it: loo roll heaven! LOL You'll see why if you click the link! ;) Thank you! Love it!
