7/3/14-ok so I've finally gotten all of my overdue swaps off my dash board. I have a 1 rating that I'm working to resolve right now and hopefully, once that's resolved, I'll get back into the groups that had to remove me and begin to stay swapping again. I know that there have been people on here that have used illness as an excuse to flake on people but in my case, shit happened & all I can do now is hopefully show people that I'm truly sorry I disappointed them. My Name's Desirae but I'm always Dez for short. I'm a disabled stay at home mom who got back into crafting things to keep dexterity in my hands. I've got multiple sclerosis & I was diagnosed in '09. It was a very rough time for me but I like to think I rose from the ashes of what wasn't a very good situation to become a whole new woman like a phoenix reborn. I've got 3 beautiful girls from 1 -10 years old who are the reason I breathe. I'm in a committed relationship with the love of my life & rounding out my happy little family is my chiweenie mix Sasha. I'm a big kid at heart. I used to go to raves & was a big kandy kid so I still love all things bright, fun happy and KAWAII!!! Anyways I don't really know what else to write so if you have any questions, just ask!! I have been a member of Listia for over 2 years with over 200 transactions and a 100% positive rating. I'm also a member of Ebay and have only positive reviews there as well. I took a break from both last year when I gave birth to my youngest daughter because she was a preemie who spent a few months in the hospital.

I like pretty much anything. I love old school punk(Subhumans, op ivy, The Misfits, crass, The Distillers, Bad Religion, NOFX) & very much consider myself a punk rock girl. I like old country and some new country-it's all my hubby's fault, you get to liking country when your sig. other sings you cheezie love songs lol I like some old electronic music-house, hardcore, happy hardcore, dnb...I like some new artists like DJ Figure. My Chemical Romance, afi...you name it I probably like it...I was raised on a steady diet of Marty Robbins, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Led Zepplin, Fleetwood Mac & Lynard Skynard. I'm easy to please I think 2 of my new favorite bands are Spinnerette and The Band Perry.

Pretty much anything by Stephen King. Anne Rice, Poppy Z. Brite, Bentley Little & Max Brooks. I like The Walking Dead graphic novels, The Rise of The Governor, The Road to Woodbury & I can't wait until they release the 2nd half of The Fall of The Governor. The Zombie Survival Guide & World War Z are like my bible, I've re-read them so many times I know them backwards and forwards. The Claiming of Sleeeping Beauty, Beauty's Punishment, Beauty's Release. I like John Skipp and Craig Spector, -mystery, supernatural, zombies etc...I also read The Dork Diary & Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and some other stuff my daughter got me into ;) Young at heart!! I like Flowers in the Attic series but really only the originals, after she passed they got kind of mushy. I love The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I love Lewis Carrol-Alice in Wonderland, Alice thru the Looking Glass and What She Found There. There's a series of zombie books The Rot & Ruin, Dust & Decay. I like Friedrich Nietzsche & HP Lovecraft.

• Beading work! I love beading! I work mainly with big hole or acrylic beads because my hands aren't that good.
• Drawing-painting/sculpting. My daughters paint & sculpt so I do a little of that with them.
• Scrapbooking We love to scrapbook and make collages together. I've lately started a ribbon collection b/c I've found it's awesome when you need a border for a scrapbook or an embellishment.
• Embellishment I've also lately gotten into embellishments so anything with cabochons or rhinestones...I've embellished my laptop cover (which my hubby hates lol) and my daughter's ds case (which they love)
• I love old victorian cameos and photos, I like the momento mori photos (photographs of the dead) and have a whole collage dedicated to the images I've found online.
• I love paper dolls and coloring pages, I have tons of coloring books, I'm kind of a big kid. I've always admired people who can draw but I've never been much of a "sketch" it kind of girl so coloring books help me get my artistic side out without having to draw it myself lol.
• I love horror based graphic novels and the images from graphic novels.
• I love hr giger, zdzislaw beksinski & Mark Ryden

Family Guy, American dad, My Little ponies-Friendship is magic and Equestria Girls, Pretty much anything from Adult Swim, The Walking Dead, Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, pretty much any cartoon-kid at heart...The IT crowd. I don't watch a lot of contemporary sitcoms but let me find some old Monthy Python or Kids in the Hall or 3 stooges and I'm good-can you sense a theme there?! lol- I love the Twilight Zone and The Night Gallery which is another show Rod Serling did. I like Tales From the Crypt (The movies and TV show) and The Outer Limits and The X files.I like Law & Order (&SVU/CI as well)

I'm a big journaler so I love all kinds of journals all shapes and sizes. I collect pens and Garbage pail kid cards. I love anything zombie/horror realted. I've got a bit of a dark side and had worked on a series of serial killer collector cards with one of my friends. I guess one way I've gotten over my fear of death is to embrace the darker sides of it fully. I love anything related to the 20s-30s or old fashioned things. I love steam punk things of course. I took apart an old alarm clock to get the gears out of it to put into one of my scrap books. I love dolls of any shape and form but I especially like creepy dolls, the creepier the better. I collect monster high dolls and I love anything related to dias de la muerto. I really like kawaii and anything cute like that. My daughters and I found some kawaii stuff at walmart of all places called soso happy but they discontinued it :( I'm not a big tea drinker unless it's a big ol glass of sweet ice tea (Southern Girl born and raised, I even say Y'ALL lol) but I LOVE coffee and hot cocoa. I Love STICKERS!! There's a show called Incredible Crew here in the States and there's a little girl who sings a song and it basically goes "Stickers, stickers I like stickers yes I do. Stickers, Stickers I like Stickers more than YOU!!" and I love STICKERS!! I probably have over 10,000 Linda Frank stickers and at least 1,000 Hello Kitty stickers.

Updated 2/28/14 I've just recently discovered mamegoma & the little earth colored hamster from San-x & I LOVE THEM!!! * I'm obsessed with Sentimental Circus. It is just really sweet and carries good memories for me. I travelled with the carnival when I was younger * I purchase a lot of kawaii from taiwan, it's not 'brand' kawaii but it's cute and I can usually find larger nicer memo pads for a little less expensive. I keep brand stuff but when I send out trades I usually always include some from Taiwan or Korea. * I love Alice's Silhouette or the cute little fairy tale type designs. * I actually prefer some Crux & Kamio designs to most Sanrio. * I do have 3 favorite Sanrio/San-x characters & it's Kuromi, Keroppi & Shappo, the ringleader from Sentimental Circus. * If you're interested in doing a trade of kawaii that's not Sanrio/Crux/Mindwave/Kamio Let me know! I LOVE finding different brands of Kawaii from different countries. For me it's not so much about the brand but about the cuteness or the message. * Pretty much any kawaii makes me happy!!
