Hello, everyone! I am Desiree and I like to make various art forms. I like jewelry making, Junk journaling, fairy houses, sketching and watercolor, painting, and snail mailing people. I live in the French countryside where it is a slow and quiet life, just how I like it! I tend to make Bohemian style jewelry, with use of tuquoise, coral and other things like carved bone and wood. I also sometimes use jade. I have an etsy store where I sell my jewelry. When I write to my penpals, I like to decorate the envelope with stickers and collages. I also put stickers on the written pages. I love stickers so much, especially ones from Asia. I love textiles and fabrics from all around the world, and enjoy the Mori Girl lifestyle. It suits me very well and I feel so comfortable in the free flowing clothing and layers. My favorite time of the year is Fall. It is the perfect weather for me, not too hot, nor too cold. Sometimes, I will sew my own clothing, using the top of something and attaching it to the skirt of another thing. I often use dresses that no longer fit me or thrifted items. My favorite place to be is a used book store or a thrift store. I also love to be in nature, to watch the farm animals and wild animals. I press flower samples, too.
