I live in Hamburg, Germany, with my wonderful DH Stephan. I'm living right in the middle of the city, but having grown up in a village, I plan to remove to the country in a couple of years, living with cats and dogs and my hubby, of course. I work full time as a translator at a private bank, and I try to balance this with lots of crafty things after working hours.

I enjoy reading, especially thriller, mystery and historical fiction, and I always carry a book about with me. I love to look out the window watching dawn change to night. Preferably cozied up with a (thick) book and a cup of tea or a good wine. I guess you can say I'm a bon vivant, though I try to live on a diet of fruits & vegetables, white meat, fish and eggs ... most of the time.

My favourite colour is green, but I also enjoy orange, burgundy red, brown and yellow. I’m not a great fan of fuchsia or magenta, and to a lesser extent neither blue, except for greenish blues like turquoise or teal.

My favourite scents are orange, cinnamon and sandalwood. I prefer tart over sweet. I like paper, candles, chocolate (especially dark one with orange), all kinds of teas (except for ingredients like chamomile, fennel and caraway), vintage stuff and everything handmade. I´m attracted to small things.

My favourite season is autumn. I simply love the smell and look of it (leaves, chestnuts, pumpkins, the smell of the earth and wet leaves). I also enjoy the water (in any form), swimming and scuba diving.

I´m very down to earth and I´m not very fond of cutesy or glittery stuff or things that are too girlie. Please do not send any Kawaii stuff either.

I always rate as soon as I get something and I send out all my swaps. If you don't get something from me please let me know.

Soul, Rock, Pop and Blues. I'm also very fond of 80s music. Some favourite artists and groups include Snow Patrol, R.E.M., U2, Kaiser Chiefs, Dire Straits, Juli, Evanescence, Good Charlotte.
