I'm Claire! I live in England and study English Language and Linguistics at University here. My boyfriend is American and I try to take a trip out every year to see him.

I play the flute and the ukulele musically wise :) and I'm pretty open to all genre's of music - not even kidding :) But I guess in general I'm a rock-pop kinda gal. My favourite bands are Say Anything and Snow Patrol.

I love comedy and pretty and happy things. I'm quite a smiley and happy person.

I've recently joined the Anime Society at my university, I've watched a lot of Champloo Samurai, Hikaru no Go, Hellsing, Full Metal Alchemist, Trigun, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi and Haruhi Suzimaya. I also play World of Warcraft, The Sims 3, Civilisation 4 and other simulation and strategy games :D

Other cultures and learning about them, chocolate, food, cooking, greys anatomy, the us, the netherlands, france, england, flowers, perfume, receiving and sending mail! cake, gaming, anime, history (particularly modern history), the sunshine, sunny days, grass, dogs, jack russells, newfoundlands, cows, tea, sprite & mtn dew, chai, bath bombs, jewelery, disney, king of the hill, pizza, stamps, linguistics.

I really enjoy cooking, so any recipes are greatly appreciated - particularly meals. Me and my housemates are always willing to try new things - as long as the ingredients aren't too expensive!

I'm always interested in the cultures of other countries and collecting little tokens from them.

And whenever I get international mail I always like to keep the stamps from the packages or stamps from that country.

I also like to try different sweets from different countries - though I've only had the pleasure of experiencing American, Japanese, French and Italian confectionery.

Generally I'm really not fussy, I'm just really excited to receive mail :)
