I really try to keep the dumpster treasures contained. I keep the books, papers, cards, and cigar boxes on shelves. If I don't want it, I try the work-mates first, then off to charity. But that's just inside the house.
The backyard has turned into "boy-land-gone-wild". Making bikes out of wood and chairs and scooters is a messy business. Check out the hubbage's hobby at www.woodenbikes.com.
one of my old neighbors collected everything from the trash. i'm talking his whole apartment was discarded goods. the way he saw it was he could take off and lean anytime he felt like it and never come back and he wouldn't miss, nor care about what happened to any of it.
Thank you so much for the wonderful holiday card! Kiki the mouse is great! I had a house mouse in high school. Then there was an unfortunate incident one night when my kept mouse was defiled by a house mouse. My Mom wouldn't let me keep the lot of wee ones that resulted..;)...I never did see the father again...
Thanks for the nice comment, Carrol! And it was my pleasure to angel to you!! There is nothing worse than the disappointment of not receiving a swap!

I have never been in a swap with you (yet) but saw piccies of your work on flickr. It is really terrific, and I can understand why you get such enthusiastic comments from swappers who receive your work.
I wholeheartedly applaud and support the concept of reusing/recycling, (especially for making art), using stuff which would otherwise be discarded.
It seems to me that you are really making a worthwhile statement with your work.

Carroll is practicing alchemy, the ancient art of turning base metals (in this case, dumpster paper) into pure gold. A Star of Hermes, for you!
