I am in my 60's. I would like to say that makes me wise but, if it does, I haven't noticed it yet! I live less than a mile from the beach which I visit whenever I can just to walk or hear the ocean. The lifestyle here is casual. I love making things. I think I have tried every craft at one time or another. Some more successful than others! Right now I am taking a watercolor class. I can draw some, sew anything, and make jewelry and other stuff from clays. I had a long career in social service and I always said I would retire and spend my days reading and making crafts and friends. That's what I do now. I joined swap-bot to do more of it and to connect with others who like crafts and sharing.
Not much of a TV watcher for the newest shows but if someone suggests something I'll check it out. I like Elementary, Castle, and reruns of Law And Order.
I like gentle music. Folk music, classical, some country western. In the interest of trying new things, I have been listening to Opera. It is different than what I usually listen to and it fills up my space with powerful sounds and singing.
I read all kinds of books and I love to read. I carry my Kindle with me everywhere. I especially like mysteries about families and genealogy but I will read any mystery that isn't creepy or scary. I like stories set in places I have never been.
I am a newbie so I will add to this list as I get more experience. I live in a small space so I like small things. Like any kind of embellishment I can use in sewing and embroidery like beads, ribbon, trim, thread, patterns, fabric Like anything to do with drawing like pencils, paint, paper. Like handmade drawings, cartoons and notes. Like hearing about where people live. Photos of people places and things are nice. Like postcards to do with places people live. Colors: blues, greens, purple, pinks, not so fond of earthy colors
Do not like candy or gum. Live near a Dollar Store so already have most of their stuff. Still open to it but already have a lot. I am one of their best customers! No use for seeds or plant items. I live in a third floor apartment. Not fond of religious items.
I am doing some postcard swaps and I prefer to have postcards that have been mailed rather than in an envelope if there is a choice. I like getting mail. As I said earlier, I am a newbie so please feel free to email me with any hints or things you think I might not know.

I forgot to mention in my rating to you that I also loved the little kitty you drew on the envelope for me. I adored his Fez with the ghost, pumpkin and bat. Mail mailbox was just bursting with happiness.

Short Poem on a PC may or may not go...here is mine: "The ocean is big, blue & calming, while the River is shallow, fast moving. They seem separated & apart, but they always ended up together just like you & me...." Happy Place.
If the swap goes, I will send this on my PC.
Greetings from Malaysia! Thanks so much for the lovely note. I am glad you received both envelopes. Mails can be bad from Malaysia so I was kinda worried. Thanks again for your kind words and for pasting nice stamps on the envie. I am keeping the envie for sure!! Take care and see you around!
