2/6/10 - Yesterday i made 38 weeks pregnant, this is my first child (a son), and I am very excited, and a little busier than usual. I am trying to finish up this one swap i'm in, and then I will probably take a break because I really am not sure what to expect as far as having extra time on my hands to create anymore in the coming months...I will update again in the future, and probably "watch" this site for time being.

I live here in Alameda, California, a small little island, with a cool monthly antique flea market, that i try to go to as often as i can, mainly for inspiration, which is something i'm always looking for... I adore all things old/vintage, sparkly, and dark....I love admiring old Victorian homes, and there's many where I live... I live with my husband and many pets; I have one chihuahua, a conure, a senegal parrot, and one spice finch, I would love to have more animals, my dream is to one day live on a property with a lot of acres, so i can have all kinds of exotic animals (except reptiles), a plant hot house, and a whole room to just craft in... so back to reality, we live near beach, with a wonderful view of San Francisco...Aside from being a pet momma, wife, and crafter, I love to garden also, and am interested in ornamental plants - such as tropical, carnivorous, and black colored plants...I recently did my atrium in all types of brightly hued coleus - I make my living as an Esthetician and Massage Therapist...

my favorite craft mediums would be making jewelry, sculpting in clay (polymer), rubber stamping, paper & collages, drawing/painting, sewing, gluing! (lol), i love using glitter on things, and recycling things/making mixed media collages.

bugs,skull/skeletons - animal/human, whatever, medical instruments/paraphenelia, religious items/symbols - mainly early Christianity type stuff, angels, some scary stuff, terrariums/bell jars/test tubes - anything under or in glass makes me happy, plants, colors - black, pink, turquoise, mossy green, lime green, purple..., nudes - vintage people, glitter - lots of it, sequins, flamboyance & eccentricness, Marie Antionette, cakes, anything to do with Europe, taxidermy, rhinestones, old english lettering, fur, anything Victorian, mourning items, plant jewelry, baroque, shabby chic, art nouveau, art deco, anything/one wearing a crown (animals, bugs, people, etc.), old maps, black crows, birds, ruffles, old medicine bottles, American Gothic, Americana, lace, crochet, scented things, soy candles and such - vanilla, pumpkin, berry, spices, and dessert scents, steam punk, watch parts, rusty keys, rosaries, tea (bags, or loose leaf), chocolate (anything but dark)
