Welcome
My name is Heidi Ross and I live in Ohio. I am a swap addict, pen pal addict and blog addict. So I decided to combine all three addictions and that is how Swap Addict was born. I also enjoy making new friends, baking, crafts and more.
I work outside the home as a Home Health Aide. I have worked in the industry for the past 6 years. I like to help people and that is what got me started in working in the Home Health field.
Below I have broken up my various likes/interest/hobbies into different sections to hopefully make everything easier for you to find and read. If you have any questions or need anything clarified please do not hesitate to contact me.

Favorite Crafts
I really enjoy making quilts and small quilted items. I don't get to enjoy this hobby as much as I would like to as it is a rather expensive hobby. I don't do any quilting by hand. I machine quilt everything. My quilting is not perfect, I just do it for the enjoyment of it.
I also enjoy working with plastic canvas. There are quite a few things that you can make with plastic canvas. I have made magnets, picture frames, picture frame/manget combo, bookmarks, ornaments.
Favorite Movies/TV
I love romance and comedy. Therefore my chosen channels on tv would be lifetime and hallmark channel. I also love stephen king movies.

Hello! I hope you are Having a warm and safe holiday season! Its only flurried snow here and it didn't stick around i could that as a good thing. I read that you like Elton John he is supposed to be coming here for a concert sometime soon i wish i could make it! i love him as well. I also enjoy crime shows too i like how you dont have to see the episode beforehand to know whats going on. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!

You have great choices in music!
That’s neat that you create quilts and quilted items. Have you ever done a t-shirt quilt? I’ve been telling myself for over 6 years that I’ve wanted to do it, but I haven’t found the time to do it.
I have found a new found love for notecards since I joined swap-bot. Do you have a favorite style? I found a really good deal on some 6 notecard packages for $0.50 at Michael’s tonight. It was great!

I loved your profile as soon as I saw that you are a fan of AC/DC! I am an Australian and have been brought up on there music. Only problem was I was unable to go to there recent concert in Melbourne :( Do you have a favourite song from them? Mine would be 'If You Want Blood' or 'TNT'. I love your varied taste in music and like you have to many favourites to list, because I am the same. I am getting introduced to more and more music especially from the country scene and I am loving how wide my variety is getting. I love your pledge list and I think that is a great idea for all swappers! Maybe you will start a new trend lol I admire your job as a home health aide. Anyone that works in that type of field has my respect. I really hope you find your job rewarding and challenging at the same time.

I am your partner in the read my profile and leave a comment swap. My name is Serena I am a 31 year old American living in Germany. I love that you work in the home health care field. I have been considering doing a apprenticeship to become a care provider for the elderly. I was deeply upset at the way a loved one was treated in a nursing home while he was terminally ill and it made me think about how they need more empathetic and loving people in the field, and I think that speaks to me. I have to wait a bit as my kids are still home, but maybe in the next few years.
I also have a broad range of musical interests. I actually got to see a concert live at the grand old opry, I believe thats where dolly parton started too. We also visited graceland on that trip, one of my greatest memories with my mom I hope to travel with her again, she will come to Germany for a few months per year now that shes retired and I would love to travel with her. Have you traveled much?
Quilting is such a beautiful hobby, I would love to one day make a memory quilt, my mom has collected so many various items along the years like t shirts, baby clothes, but I never knew how to start, do you use a standard sewing machine?

Hi Heidi! I'm Rebecca from near Toronto Canada! I also love baking! I make anything from basic chocolate chip cookies to caramel and fudge. I'm also a decent cook. You have good taste in music! I listen to country or oldies pretty much all the time. I have a few new songs in my play list but not too many. We even worked in the same field, I'm a retired RN!
